Gotta admit, it's pretty darn light...26 pounds give or take 0.25 pounds.

That is tight!!! Are you sure about the weight though? No offense intended. It's just that I thought everything needed to be Ti and alloy to hit the mid twenties.

truth be told, it is 26.5...my Haro SR71 is 27.5 while my Schwinn Prostock SE tips the scales at 29.5...so yes, the KONA is incredibly light. What is typical for a normal built up bike (like a Crupi or Staats) for a Pro-XL size person like me (190lbs)?

Not too bad. That's a really nice looking bike! My Hawk F-20 weighs 27 pounds.

Very nice build - I don't think I've seen a cleaner bike - the chrome and polished pieces are bright!
I've had a few Kona mtn bikes over the years - they make some good stuff.
