"interesting" is putting it mildly. I've never seen nor heard of a GT Thumper before, but then I'm no GT expert.

Guys,

Well, its a chainsaw motor attached to it.......
I don't think I should check it out but........
Curiosity man, Curiosity!
Oh allright.......I'll call the guy Monday........

I can't figure it out, but those baby daytons should clean up well and I'm guessing you can get something like $30 bucks for the set on ebay, then you'll only be out $70 bucks! Go for it

BTW, does the chainsaw motor drive the rear wheel? If so, did the owner say how fast it goes?

I'm going to go on record & say that is not a GT at all (although they DID have a model called the thumper)...

The bend in the down tube on that is all wrong for GT & it looks like there are holes in the rear dropouts...

I could be wrong but I don't think that's a GT.

Looks like maybe an old goose stem? That would be worth 100.00.

FYI: a real GT thumper was the step-down model from the Fueler - late '90s 10lb street/trail frame.
