I picked up a dyno nitro today at a garage sale for $7.00. 4130 chromo. It is neon yellow. 1pc. crank. Is anyone familiar with these bikes? Am I posting in the right forum for this? Was this a popular bike or just another p.o.s.? Well i figured for 7 bucks I could have a lot of fun cruising around the lake next summer with it. It will also give me and my boys something to do this winter as far as fixing it up. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Hmmmmmmmmm A Dyno nitro? let me think go cruise it at the lake next year-lake jump AND LEAVE IT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LAKE! LOL It is a good cruiser but nothing worth putting real money into. Use it as a thrasher.

dyno nitros are decent bikes.
i have 2, each one is a different "bodystyle".
as far as chromoly i think they are only 3 maintube chromo.
post a pic of your nitro and i might be able to tell you what year it is!

I have a Nitro too! I just got new stickers for it and it rides real nice. It sits in the shed most of the time. I bought it for the GT mags!
Stickers not on yet obviously.

Sorry the picture is so big. I had no idea it was going to do that. The paint is actually quite chipped and sun faded on i side of the frame and fork. Pretty LOUD color hunh?

Light it on fire and throw it from a rooftop. Shoot it with a 12 gauge on the way down. If it survives, use it as a lake jumper.
Oh, and FILM IT.

Its to bad that everyone is so hard on Dyno's cause the three I have are great riding bikes. Sure they are not top of the line bikes but I dont think thats what its all about. If you going to just ride it into the lake or thrash it send it my direction, I'll adopt it and give it a good home.
Coast I dig yours, I would like to find one like that with the square tubed rear triangle.
