I don't know much about the race stuff so I have a question for you guys. I haven't seen photos but I have contacted a guy out of state who says he has an Aluminum PK Ripper. He has no idea what year it is an is asking $175. What is the going price for such a bike? Any info would be great. Thanks
Kerry
$175 is average in my opinion, wether it has cantis or a regular brake bridge. If it's a looptail, double to triple that depending on condition.

Here a timeline:
78-84 Looptail $$$$
85-86 Straight chainstay $$$
86-92 2 nd Gen $$$
93-99 1 1/8 Headtube & Canti. Mount Brakes $$
03-06 Fuji Made $$

This is just to give you a Idea it by no mean's give you any price's. There are also some that I did not list such as early models with round top tube BDII and so on......

Thanks for the info guys. He has a ton of other stuff like a 84 PL20 complete, Hutch pro racer frame and many more. He inherited his dads bike shop in a small town and he says his dad threw nothing away. He says he has piles of bikes and part behind his shop. As he finds stuff he gives me a call. Hope to have the PL 20 and hutch frame soon. After that I'm getting the Ripper so stay tuned.

Sounds like you hit the other mother load. The first one is in Rye Arizona. I havent seen a thread on that place in a while.
