There's a name from the past! Anyone know why he isn't a part of S&M?
Greg used to work at a Shwinn shop in Santa Ana (South Coast SHwinn on Bristol) when I was a kid, he built up a frame for me. My neighbor and I used to wear the South Coast Shwinn shirts when we raced... kind of informally road for the store. Anyway, when he and Chris Moeller started S&M my neighbor was one of the first ppl to take advantage of their co-sponsorship program. He received a frame/fork and a jersey from what I can recall. Shortly after that I had stopped racing to get into High School sports and didn't get back into things until I got into Mountain Biking about 5 years ago.
I still vivdly remember Greg and Chris showing up to the Orange Y track with their first prototype S&M frame.

Great story. It would be interesting to know how the whole thing started, and ended, with Greg Scott and Chris Moeller.
Great pic!

Matt - I started a seperate thread to inquire as to the whereabouts of Greg Scott. If you're interested I can elaborate on the story of beginning of S&M (atleast as I know if from being around the Orange Track, Greg Scott and Chris Moeller as a kid).

Resier, by all means, elaborate! I was a huge fan of S&M back in the late 80's, but here on the east coast, you didn't see too many all that often.

Hey everyone, I'm still alive and kicking! Although I'm still heavily involved in the BMX industry, not many people know who I used to be (and technically still am). My full name is Greg Scott Swingrover but most people today in BMX know me as Greg Swingrover.
Good to know that I havn't been completly forgotten! Thanks for remembering!

Cool pics! Kind of Toby Henderson like in both style and uniform (during his Hutch days).
