Great pics. The early S&M's rule.
Here's a few shot of my first-year Holmes:

Check the original style of the Slam bars, much different then the current style:

Earlier style white-stiched pad set:

Gotta have the Club Homeboy sticker:

The big "chicken". Johnny would be proud

Is there anyway of finding out the date an s&m frame was made by using the serial number?

Great bikes.
Cru Jones - you even have the BASE Brooklyn sticker set. BTW, what ever happened to those guys?

BASE Brooklyn is still going strong. Enos was at the Banks Jam last month.
I've got a chrome first-gen Holmes frame (1", no 990s) and fork on the way. With Slams and a shafted Redneck. Psyched. This is the one I have built now (complete with Menstrual fork/stem).

Hey Eddie is that the one with the gold decals that was on ebay? I was hoping you would see that. I thought about getting that one but I already have one I out bid you for a couple of years ago. I did fix it up and someday I'll post it if I ever figure that stuff out.

NER - I always love seeing that bike! How many S&M's will you have now?
About BASE - are they still doing clothes and stuff, and website or anything? Good to hear they are still around. The Shady Bunch was my 2nd BMX vid which I still have.

That ad is great!
And yeah, it was the gold-decaled set on eBay. $150 shipped for the lot. I think that makes 4 S&Ms for me—two Holmes, a Mad Dog and a Widowmaker.
Here's the new addition to the family.
