I have this guy on my route. I am a Snap-On dealer. His name is Jason Kranitz, and for the longest time, I couldn't place the name but it seemed very familiar.
This past week, I was asking him where he grew up, when he mentioned Salem & Eugene, OR, I immediately asked if he raced BMX.
He, of course, said "Yes".
Anyways, good to catch up with former BMXers.
He is a installer of car stereos and other unique fab stuff and does some very custom jobs for Hollywood, major car manufacturers, etc.
He is aware of Vintage. We will see if he checks in here.

wow. haven't heard that name in a while. two things that struck me about him as a newbie were his hair and that he never got dirty. i don't know how he did that.

He still has the hair and I would say his career is pretty clean. I talked to him yesterday. He said he will checkout vbmx when he gets time.
I love seeing former BMXers be successful in whatever they choose to do.
Like I said he does very custom stuff, beyond "Pimp My Ride" and shows like that.
In fact, he is working on a Discovery Channel show similar to American Chopper, Monster Garage, et al.
