e-mail sent.
Captain America
here they are again, redesigned and ready to go. I think I have enough to make 4 more sets, so anyone interested let me know.

I would like a set for my 95' HAWK.
It's on Hall's post, Quickev's HAWK.

I made them for a hawk once, it was a huge pain in the butt! with the square chainstays and all.

Those turned out nice.

Nice machine work, Capt.
Those don't twist on the stays during hard braking? I've seen a different design that bolts to the standard old school brake bridge
Captain America
put em on tight enough and they shouldn't twist, the prototypes have not had a problem yet, the rest should be done by the end of the weekend. Hope this doesn't sound rediculous but I'm thinking about $28 a set includes shipping, looks like I will have 3 sets, more if people need them. That price is for 5/8" hole, anything different would be a little more expensive, and I would need to know what size.

I could never have made them, but I was thinking that way back in the early 90s when none of the bashguard Haros had mounts (nor did my Bully) and the Bulldog was the rear brake of choice. Got hold of the lugs and made a mounting plate of my own out of scrap aluminium at work instead.
Saw some spherical ones with small allen bolts on a bike at Southsea last time I was there, about 1998. They must've been factory-made but I never found out who by.
Yours are really good, reckon they could pass for mass-produced. With a brake-booster there should be zero twist and unlike my current Standard 990 plate, no flex.

Capn. - 28 buck does not sound ridiculous at all, it sounds very reasonable if you ask me, if not downright cheap. Those look high-quality.
Wayne makes a very good point - A good booster bridge would eliminate alot of the torsional stresses so the twisting would be almost eliminated. Easy to fabricate from 1/8" 6061T6 plate.

I have a set that were made in the mid 80's by former Thruster Jeff Kerr. They came attached to his all orig. Thruster Bi-Power 20" I just got from him. He said he made em and started using them in late 85'. which matches the date code stamped on the canti-barkes he used. Very cool!!!!

Capn' how snug do they fit, in other words, snug enough not to move under load and not damage the seat stays??
Kastanman
Did you get them finished Cap?
