So,
I really liked this somewhat rare Widowmaker . I was even considering paying the high price the seller wants. Problem is it looks like there is a ding.

What do you guys think ? Ding or Lighting ?

The Dent

What do you guys think ? My friends all seem to think its a dent and not lighting.

DANG IT!!! I was hoping nobody would see that auction. I want it also
Well, here's my thought on the "dent". Given it's location, I think it's a factory indentation made for sprocket clearance. I think the lighting in the pic makes it look a little more like a random "dent", but it's location is right where some bikes I've had have had a dent.
The 26incher
Hey is that is a Tuff Neck inverted stem...

I can only guess, but I don't think a 24 incher would need a dent for chainring clearance. don't they usually run smaller front gears?

I think its the lighting efx. Nice Dee Snider frame though. I had a chance to pick one up for 100.00 and I let it slip away...now the new owner wont sell!! I even offered him a very high amount of $$$$!!! Stupid me!!! lol

I love the Twisted Sister line on the toptube. Defiantely looks to me like it is a factory dent put there for sprocket clearance.

I have the same frameset and it has the same indentation.

Well, before this post, I'd only seen one WidowMaker on the entire internets (NER's). Now it seems there are two more out there. Surely you must be able to take pictures, so lets see 'em!! I really dig these frames.
