Hawk mine are still winning races. TNT is sweet too. Standard is a great frame. Really any American made cro mo like Brew. S&M very nice. GHP if your going asian. Maybe the KAOS frame soon to be released for team KAOSBMX.com But really its what ever feels good to you everybody is built different and so are most Frames.

Before 86' I personally like the Mongoose Expert. Super light and dialed in perfect. From 86' on I like the GT Mach One and Power Series.
Lonewolf
What exotic taste you have.

Was it Power Series or Pro Series? Been so long I can't remember. I just remember trading a friend for it and loved how it was set up.

For me, hands down, have always been the Quadangles.....I wouldn't race anything else!

GHP asian? The 90's GHP's were made by ELF.

Wow. No one mentioned the Reynolds racing frames or Hyper metros which both I liked in the early 90's.
diamondbackguy81
I agree! Nothing about Hypers! I have a 94 hyper metro pro xl. It's a very nice frame.

87-88 Titan I 20" (micro mini)
89-90 Titan II 20" (mini) and Titan mini 24"
91-92 Titan III 20" (junior) and Titan junior 24"
93 Titan IV 20" (expert) and Titan 24"
94 Mongoose Solution 20"
95 Cannondale 20" and Cannondale 24"
96 Powerlite P61 XXL and GT Speed Series 24"
97 Powerlite P61 XXL and Powerlite 24"
98 Powerlite Coqpit XXL and Powerlite 24"

I loved the Titans! The Solution was very difficult for me to adjust to. I was used to the raked out, slow steering fork angle of the Titans and ate it a lot the first few months on the Solution. I liked the Cannondales because they were damn good looking and rode very similar to the Titans. Once I started racing for Powerlite it was XX's from then on. My favorite bike of all time was the Coqpit. Saddly, that is the only one I don't still have. When a good friend of mine Tim Kneip began racing for P-Lite as a pro a few years later, there were no XXL Coqpits available to him at the time so I shipped mine off to him. Each bike is very special to me. I won 5 Grands and 5 NAG 1 titles on the Titans. I was on the very first magazine style American BMXer riding the Solution, and I picked up another Grands and NAG 1 on my P61. However, without a doubt, I have to say that the POWERLITES WERE THE BEST!

Free Agent Limos. The geometry still holds up today.

b.

78 to 84 I used Redline frames. Micro, MXII and Proline. Thruster made a nice frame then too.

Boss Crossed over from old school to mid school with the longer frames that had great geometry that were not overly aggressive and were easy to handle. Although I never owned one, I think Hands Down the Free Agent Limo was the best. It was better than all the flash in the pans mid school bikes that popped up and faded out. My first year S&M Holmes stole from what worked with the best bikes of the day and made it stronger and tougher and created the bars that everyone still copies today. S&M has survived the mid school and is proving to be the longest lasting and best of them all.

I loved my Revcore, and GT pro series, but I always wanted a S&M Challenger.
