Hey all,
First off, thanks ELF_DUDE.
Good times yesterday... aside from the sunburn... and the black-eye I suffered practicing bunny-hops off to the side... fortunately the Hutch survived with less cosmetic damage than I did. ;-]
I have posted my PHOTOS of yesterday's gathering here: http://homepage.mac.com/area211/There are three sets (at the top) containing thirty-some photos each. I actually managed to get some humans in this time... LOL.
hope you enjoy...

james , same great show and weather as last year, trophies were even better, and so was the food ! anyone from the midwest that have missed these first two gatherings are really dropping the ball. a nice , relaxed laid back afternoon in the park, a few families came in tow with children, bret (willinois) putting on a bunnyhop clinic, it just cant be beat. quality of bikes was a step up again this year as well. great to see some new builds, meet some new people, and talk to some old friends. i appreciate the work and time spent on this gathering. i came home with a nice load of change, but without one of my babies. what a surprise to sell one of my bikes there ! looking forward to next year, see most of you at peps i hope. craig/vettefan.

I was the recipient of the Furthest Traveled award, so I would like to say that I really encourage everyone in the Midwest to attend this show next year. This really was a fun event and very well organized. Food... refreshments...door prizes, and wow those trophies!
Thanks to Ron for taking the photos too. I somehow always forget to take pics, even though I remembered to bring my camera. duh!

I had a really great time James. The hot dogs were the bomb man. Those trophies were insane! There were a lot of really fantastic bikes. Just hanging out and getting to know some of you guys was the highlight for me. Oh yeah, and watching wilinois fold those bars over "Chicago" style will be forever etched in my cranium...

Well once again, a very nice gathering!!! Huge THANKS to James and family for putting this together again, I had a great time!
OK, so where do I continue? Good seeing everyone again, such a cool deal to get out from behind the screen names and chat & hang out. Also very cool to meet some people and talk to them for the first time. Also big ups to all that won trophies in their class, you all definitely deserved them! The bikes this year were off the hook!
Brett, dude, you are a friggin riot! Big ups on the bunny hop win but I still think you earned one of those "OTB" shirts! LOL!
John, good to meet you and talk to you about those amazing Hutch cruisers, I was totally blown away by them. The black one was by far my favorite!
Gary, good to meet you and talk to you about your Redline Retro Styler, that bike is just plain sick! I checked it out at Rockford but didnt get the look at it like I did on Saturday. Getting to talk to you about this bike, there are so many small details on this ride, it definitely takes the cake! Job well done my friend!
A few of us went for a small cruise around town. It was a nice little cruise along the riverwalk but next year well get a bunch more of us and we'll "tour" around a little more.
So definitely looking forward to another good time next year, hope to see you guys again at pep's in a couple months!!!
