I believe that it is happening that Sunday, I think its the 29th not the 28th.
After the scheduled races, should start about 12:00 noon

I wanted to do it both days, but after talking to Kevin, we decided the best would be Saturday.
Since we are seting up a second Old School gathering on the same day as the Alumni Dinner.

Regardless, Some local Collectors, TO and I (and my kids), will be at the track the 28th with a BBQ and about 5 bikes apiece, starting gate will be running. Gonna set a canopy or 2. and bump some cool tunes to ride and chill to over the pa system.

BT, do you know if Bensalem offers free trial memberships for the ABA? I'm assuming you need to be a member to ride the track -- even if it is at a leisurely pace.

I heard you can ride without an aba membership. I also heard that fullface helmets are mandatory.

Let me know if I am wrong.

What time do the races start?

Todd will be out of town then but I will try to stop by and bring a cool old bike. Don't know if I will be racing as I am pretty messed up from a bike crash right now.

Let me know the specific details and I will see if I can bring a bike from work.

Talked to Kevin Tues night. The date is DEFINITELY set for Sunday, July 29th at 12:00 noon Immediately after the scheduled races.
I will be bringing as many bikes as I can (prob around 7 or so) Jeffypoo will be bringing a few and I'm sure many more. Please bring grilles, tunes, and any loose women you might know. "Just kidding"

All AMA tracks I believe offer one free practice or race.

Why would you want to race WITHOUT a full face helmet?
Unless you're already UGLY!

The only helmet I have is an open face Premier that I used BITD. I haven't been on a track in 21 years.

Does Bensalem have loaner helmets?

I'll bring an xtra you are more than welcome to use, I have a few.

Now that I think of it, they do have some loaner equipment, just may be smaller size. I will find out tomorrow night at practice.

Anyone planning on racing the old bike? I pulling out the '81 supergoose and my buddy is pulling out his old team mongoose. It'd be fun to see some other vintage rides in action!

The weather doesn't look so good. Anyone got an idea of another place? I will be around but my Garage is way too small to fit everyone's bikes. I have some stuff to show off.

I know Lee. With 3 kids I can't find time to polish and clean parts for new builds let alone clean complete bikes. I really wanted to bring my PK that I use to race and maybe the mini I am building for my son.

Anybody bringing kids? I was thinking about bringing my 4yr old.

I got the 81 goose in race ready condition for anyone who wants to throw down!

It's 7:30 and we just had a nice little storm blow through. I'm hoping it clears up.

What's the status and do we have an alternate plan? I'd have everyone up to my house, but the yard is kind of small and I don't have any coverage if it keeps raining...
