If you look close you can see where this photo came from, whats up with that friggin water tower. This clearly is not me.

I heard through the grapevine that Mannings door to door business is taking off better than he thought and he may be able to make it to the MNFO in August... he's scrapping his current gig to become CEO of Mannings Magic Inc.

If you are thinking about signing up but have little golf experience, or think golfing won't be fun... remember, this is the Faction. If it wasn't fun we wouldn't do it.

Heads up to those planning on driving I-94 to the slideshow.
This weekend, I-94 will be closed on the stretch from 280 to downtown. From the StarTribune:
"The next disruption is scheduled to begin Friday evening and run through Sunday, when MnDOT will close I-94 in both directions between downtown Minneapolis and Hwy. 280. MnDOT will temporarily widen the 3-mile stretch to four lanes by restriping the highway and converting shoulders to traffic lanes."

Registration closes for golf today! I had a few guys cancel for various reasons, but we still have a kick *** group hitting the links. Caddy shack meets Spinal Tap meets Slapshot.

My golf outfit is nearly complete, the slideshow is kickin and we'll also have some extra clips.

This is the primer for the BBQ. This year is going to rock.

Directions to the Maple Grove track:
- From 694/ 494/ I94 interchange go west I94 (toward St. Cloud) to the second exit #213- 95th Ave/County Road 30.
- At the top of exit turn left (west). Turn right at 3rd stoplight and follow County Road 30.
- Go approximately 2 miles to the 4-way lights on CR 30&CR 101.
- Make a right turn. Take CR 101 for three miles to a four way stop sign.
- This is CR 81 make a right turn.
- Proceed 4/10 mile to Troy Lane, turn left. They are the 2nd building in on right

All right, this thread has been alot of my posts, but oh well.
Today was incredible! It rained all day here in MN, but that didn't matter! We met up at a cart track in Maple Grove and TORE IT UP!!!! Springer was cool enough to get us a special 2 fer 1 deal! Everyone was buzzing around and totally going for it. JT's better half Carolyn hit the wall and injured her hand and had to head to the hospital to have it checked out. She was on the gas! Please check in and let us know how you guys are doing!

The slideshow was great! Very relaxed, lots of BSing and once again Broadway were excellent hosts. I have to thank:
- Paul Springer for bringing his battle tested projector (please post that model, it's the Keith Richards of projectors!!!) and the cart hookup! I think Springer is going for MN OSer of the year or something.
- WDS and Ditchweed for the footage and pics from Rockford. Mix those with mine and we came out with a great show!!!!
- Kurt Schmidt for bringing the PA and putting some footage together- plus the commentary during the show kept everyone entertained.
- Everyone that took time out of their schedule to attend another sucessful MN Faction event! I swear, every time I think "Man, this group is too cool", more people show up. Tonight we had quite a few new faces! FNG Jeff is no longer the FNG!!!!

We're rocking the BBQ in a couple weeks!!!!
