Sorry guys, no baby yet, I was talking about the rat bike class and missed the comma after NOS.
Mom is really doing well, she has been a trooper... we'll more than likely have news on Friday.
Pauly- Peg will be at the BBQ, she made her debut at the as a brakeless wonder there last year. And you wouldn't believe it, that spot started to disapear when I got back. I have been taking her out for rides and you'd never guess that spot was ever there. I was seriously bummed out... but not anymore!

Hey Mike,
Tried to buy (PayPal) a Faction t-shirt, where do we specify size bro?
mikkopeters
Jul 19 2006, 10:07 AM
Yo, specify the size in the notes of the transaction, that should have been listed on the Pay Pal link. Thanks for the heads up...

Yo Steef, thanks for the email this week! We're getting ready to head to the hsptl on thursday morning! I'll post the results when we return home!
In re to your Rat Bike question, I pulled this from minnesotafaction.com:
"The Rat Bike class is new for this year. When we say Rat Bike and unlimited, we mean anything goes. Low buck. Rattle can paint. Duct tape grips The only rule is that each bike must to be operational. Bring anything and show it with pride."
You have to be able to ride them in some fashion. Bobby Blotzer poster is optional.

Hey fellas,
Less than a month out! I am getting stoked!
I have some very cool news, I talked with JSAW last Friday and they are providing the rain back up for the the BBQ! And to top it off, we have an entire basketball court sized area to set up and old schoolers can ride the park for a special rate of $3.00. Whoa.
J.T.
Aug 21 2006, 06:31 PM
Yeah, JSAW rocks and $3.00 is such a deal!!!
I'm stoked because I'm going to pump up the tires on the 20" tonight and try riding since all the tumor crap going on this year. The doc said to "chill" so I'm going to do just that.
It should be another gnarly time!!!

Great to hear that JT. I'm sure it'll be fun to at least get out & roll around again!
See ya at the BBQ.
-Bill
That's cool to hear about JSAW as well.
mikkopeters
Aug 22 2006, 09:58 PM
That is most certainly good news JT!
JSAW was super cool when I talked with them, it takes a huge weight off my mind if it decides it's going to rain.
It's going to be cool to meet a few more MN VBMXers! Spread the word!

Aw, man, wish I could be there, but I'm much further away from Richfield than I was last year. And Strike--I've got vintage photos for you and someday you WILL receive them. However, I've been too busy dodging bullets and rattlesnakes this summer to get 'em off to you. Maybe an early Christmas present?

A guy just stopped into the shop that took a Hutch Pro Racer in trader for a motorcycle. I told him about the BBQ and directed him here. It sounded like a pretty sweet ride.
mmm.... Fresh blood.
Not to be confused with Fred Blood.

Steef spreading the word!!!
There are going to be people crawling out of the woodwork this year. Last year a guy showed up after seeing the BBQ when he was driving by. He returned with a fully suspended bike from the 70's and went home a winner and also won a tshirt too. This could be you.
"How could I have missed the Minnesota Faction BBQ?" tales will be told much like people that turned down tickets to Woodstock. If you are on the fence, show up. You will have fun.

I'm always on the fence.
Plan A Ratt byke is Having a hard time coming apart. Luckily, the plan B Ratt byke is already beautifully spraybombed and almost ready for BMX Action. Of course there's always Plan C and D, too...

Question for everyone attending?
Who's bringing their kids?
my 7.79 year old will be there, rocking no training wheels and doing 3 inch wheelies.
I don't expect to see the mini-mikko for a few years.
