Hi all, just thought I'd drop in to let you know that Aus Gathering for this year is in the planning, and although not confirmed yet we are hoping for it to take place with the NSW BMX titles on the October long weekend at the Terrigal BMX track on the NSW Central Coast (near Gosford). Most probably Sunday Oct 1. More details and confirmation soon.

Hi guys ! We've got the OK, and we are good to go for our gathering at Terrigal BMX track on Sunday Oct 1. That's the long weekend so that gives everyone the Sat to get there, and the Monday to get home. Terrigal NSW is 10 minutes from Gosford, an hour north of Sydney CBD, and about an hour and a half south of Newcastle. The NSW State bmx titles are on at Terrigal that weekend so there should be lots of people around, but if you're hoping for accomadation close to the track, you better move now. Gosford has plenty of motels, and other reasonably close suburbs are Wamberal, Kincumber, Erina, The Entrance. More details as we get them organised, but as previous the 'mission statement' for these gatherings - 'Come along, meet people, look at the bikes, show yours, or not show yours, bring many, bring none, no competitions, just a celebration, no stress, no aggro, just good fun, good people, good bikes, and the best damn sport in the world!'

Damn I always wanted to go to Auatralia, and now I want to go more. If it were only closer than an 18 hour plane ride.

Our Gathering is the following weekend so I'll get my BMX fix then.

Hi guys, sorry i haven't been around, busy as hell here, but that's my prob. We all good to go on Sunday Oct 1 ! It's less than 2 weeks away aaaarrrgh !
The race meeting starts around midday on the Sunday, but i've been telling folks we'll be gathering from 10am on. If you're at the top of the hill looking down on the track, we'll be to your left over against the wall of the child care centre next door and under the trees in that area.
Still haven't worked out which or how many bikes i'll be bringing, but i'll probably bring a Quicksilver, maybe.....

My thoughts on Terrigal in general plus a few photos of the town then a few of the bikes. More probably later.

- doesn't matter what beach you go to, there's always a guy with a metal detector walking around.
- old guys wearing inappropriate Speedos at the surf club.
- crappy takeaway shops on the beach side strip along with a few good ones.
- I always go for a long walk on the beach and within 48 hours I can't walk because my calf muscles are so sore.
- idiots in cars that forget to change out of first gear.
- a few hotties, yum, yum.
