They're still out there!

So far...

1. A black and gold King Sting.
2. Early serial number Texas Firemans Cruiser
3. Direct Link w/ DK stem and RL Bars
4. 26 inch GBH Cruiser (still hoping to find info on this one)

Not bad for 14 days. I'll post pics later.

Post up some pics. I love cruisers. Especially the Firemans. I love mine. I just wish I could afford to buy one of their 24" Cruzers.

FIREMAN'S BABY!

Just got mine... after two years of lookin' and a month of waiting for delivery after payment and no response from the seller (thought that cash went out the window, for sure!)

I live directly across the street from the Fireman's office and I know they've been having trouble with the new landlord. A develper bought the property and is kicking everyone out to build a crystal farm or something. That could have been the issue for the delay.

You aren't kidding!!! I just scored 2 mind blowers. Pics and details soon.

Love the garbage, garage sale, resale shop finds. It makes you feel like you got away with something.

Actually, mine ended up coming from a six-degrees-of-kevin-bacon kinda story... and it's second-hand at best.

I was scanning the Austin craigslist (figured they're made there, so maybe...) and found another cat lookin' for one, and I emailed him "you find two, lemme have one, and vicey-versa"... he sends me a craigslist posting from Seattle, and I give him dibbs but he passes (Thanks, Clayton!) and the seller and I make a deal. He goes outa town with my paypal sent, and I don't hear from him for like a month. Yikes!

It all worked out, though.

It's old -- serial number 28 was made in 2000 according to Greg at Fireman's -- and very used, but now it just needs cranks and brakes and I'll be riding the hell outa it. I am very pleased with it, and very sorry to hear they're having real estate issues.

Sorry for the delay on pics. Been busy w/ work and getting our floors ready for concrete staining. I'll get some up by the end of the day. They're all partially disassembled in the photos.

The Fireman's is serial number FMTX 072. Non-Looptail. It was partially stripped and came w/ crappy parts, but it should powder up nicely. It's going to be a suprise build, next year, in my wife's college (UNI) colors.

I do have pics of the GBH Cruiser frame. Anyone know anything about these? One big bummer, it has a big ding in the drive side seatstay.

If anyone is interested in the Kuwahara, Direct Link, or the King Sting, hit me up w/ an offer. I'll be posting them in the "for sale" section in the next month or two if there's no bites.

I guess September was a good month for scores...two weeks ago I picked up a 81 JMC Standard Long with what I believe to be 83 Standard forks...I bought it off two guys fishing off the end of the Hermosa Beach pier. $120 for the complete bike.
