I picked this up a couple of weeks ago from a guy that had it for his grandson. It is all original. 100% OG. Its in great condition. The skyways are original Tuff II's with the white lettering and the pattent number stamped on the outside. It has AME grips similar to the oakley .5 with the real old logo.
It doesn't appear to have been ridden much. The drop outs are near mint. The wheels were tightened down only once in one spot.
This is a true survivor. I believe this to be a 1980. The number starts with CLO. And since i am mostly a freestyle guy, i am trying to shop this around. Mostly looking for a trade. Looking for 87/88 GT Pro freestyle tour. Maybe something else of interest.

It must have came off of a tractor. Its a schwinn seat by Persons. It has a metal tag on the tail. Its freakin HUGE. 500lb *** could sit on it.
Its a 20" ride

its not a stretch that the equipment would be all old schwinn stock --- thats how the kits were sold --- bitd most schwinn shops wouldn't carry a competitor brand such as mongoose so BMX Products offered the package/kit with all schwinn/ashtabula equipment to get they're product sold through those same shops

That sounds about right. it has schwinn pedals on it, and the sprocket IS schwinn.
