Found this ole girl online and picked it up for 30 bucks. Redline full chromoly pro frame with a GT fork on it. Still has "old" style brake bridge and threaded headset, Im guessing 89-92 or so? Also, under the frame is a sticker that says made exclusively for S.R.S. Seattle Wa.
Diamond back gyro neck, Odyessy post and brakes, 175 one piece cranks, but the bars............
They sure have that Star Bars shape to them! I keep looking at the few pics I have and it seems like it. Were there any knock offs?

Sknight, did you pick that up from the Squirrel Guy in Tampa?

Bob, not sure, this guy was/is on craigslist and lives near the zoo. Other than the center bar being a bit fatter, they match the star bars to a tee. Was worth the 30 dollar risk and got some extra parts to boot.! Why, any good stories???

That's the guy . . . I was there on Saturday and nearly bought that bike, too. He's got a lot of stuff there. He was supposed to start at 3pm and I got there a few mins before 3. Someone else was already there and beat me to an old Schwinn cruiser (non-bmx) with old school Shimano 600 cranks on it. He got that for $30, as well.
Question - what was up with that seat cover he had on it?

It turned out to be some type of air bladder that you can inflate. The seat under it was some padded half chewed up beater. I really went hoping the bars were what i thought. I have never seen a pair so exactly alike, save for the thicker center bar.
