I have been back in NH for about a week, and while Vintage stuff has really not been my focus since I am in the middle of my move out to Colorado, I stopped by an old friends house. I have cleaned this place out before- multiple times, in fact, and my first time there 3 years ago he pulled out a Torker 26- his first BMX bike. I have been trying for 3 years to get him to sell it to me. He buys and sells bikes and runs a little shop in his garage and has parts there from 20++ years ago. When I cleaned him out previously, I got a Hutch Judge and tons of other good stuff.

stopped by the other day, and told him I was moving. He said to me, "Well, I guess I have to sell you the Torker 26 now!" Needless to say, I was psyched. I also browsed thru stuff I had seen before....and found the bars and Hutch stem hanging on the wall, obviously untouched, that I had missed at least 3 or 4 times before.

I am trying to figure out what kind of bars are on the Torker- he said they are Torkers, but I have a few sets of them and they are not even close. I also have no clue what kind of bars the Hutch stem is attached to.....anyone??

The Torker is going to be restored and hang with my Torker 24", the other stuff is available if anyone wants it.

Yeah, I had a set of those Cook Bros bars, hated them when I raced, too wide and swept back. I bet it's really hard to find them uncut.

sweet bike.

Oh and whats the story with that little fire chief truck, knock off that rust and restore that thing. I'ts sweet too.

They do look alot like cook cruiser bars. Do you see a logo on the back right side of the bars? It's probably long since faded away. I'll swap you some VDC bars for em.
Nice Torker!

Serva will be able to confirm....but I think there from a Kuwahara Bravo Pro.

I pulled the plate off the bars before I left, and sure enough, they are Cook Bros.

I need some stuff- plus I am always open to good cruiser trades, so if anyone wants them let me know. I can trade up or down on them.

I actually cannot wait to get the 26" out here to Colorado, since that is when I will be able to start restoring it. Its gonna look hot next to the 24".
