Need a little advice...

It's so strange whenever I get something shipped to me from Australia (to San Francisco), the price is usually pretty reasonable and the service is pretty fast. But sending back the other way using US Postal Priority or First Class seems significantly more expensive (but pretty fast).

What's are the best services to use to for shipping from the U.S. to Australia?

Hey mate,

Definitely go USPS. Fedex and UPS charge a bomb - just not worth it.

General consensus seems to be that "USPS Express Mail" is the best option for frames - includes tracking too.

Kurt, how's USPS Priority mail (with tracking)? That seems a little bit cheaper.

I always prefer to pay a few extra bucks and go with usps express mail as Kurt suggested...The tracking rocks and much to contrary belief it is tracked in Australia too. Really reasonably price on larger items..As mentioned in another forum Ken Pleska sent me a frame/forks for $54 to Australia, 7 - 8 days tracked.

I received a frame set via USPS Express Mail tracked in 4 days from LA to Sydney.

USPS standard airmail is cheap and fast.

dhl and fedex eat sh-t, I have had problems with them on afew occasions.

USPS priority, never had a problem and gets here within 1 week as martin said, often within 4 days.

Either will work mate - I think for a frame or higger value item Express Mail is a little more secure - I use Priority all the time for smaller items. Either option will work for you - Express definitely a little faster.
