After some serious bugging I finally was able to get this from one of my friends.
I couldn't tell you why there are Redline decals on it, but it is a Kuwahara cruiser which was built in 1984 (I believe). The serial # is K4F1???.
I don't know much of anything about Kuwaharas, but this one isn't in too bad a shape. Someone messed up the chrome around the bottom bracket and scratched up the headtube and forks, but there are no dents that I have seen. The only thing I wonder about is the small hole drilled in the side of the top tube (you can see it in the picture), I have idea why somoen did it.
I figure I will slowely gather parts for it and hopefully I can afford to get it rechromed.

That is one beautiful frame! Nice score!

What do you think the hole is for? The brake cable?
spike
Maybe the hole was done to run a hidden cable?
Speedrcr
I was thinking hidden cable also, especailly when I noticed that they drilled a hole in the neck that is also cable size.

Ok that is not a cruiser it looks 20" to me. Also its an 84 Kuwahara Laser Lite by the looks of it.

Can you post a pic or the brake bridge and the rear dropouts.
Sumo178
oh do you want to sell the FF?

LOL! sumo178... That is a 24" cruiser f&f set and NOT a 20" frame and fork.
