Is it just me or does that bike just screams, "RACE ME"? It looks incredible, I don't want to get to know it better I just wanna ride the he!! out of it. You know how you're attracted to some woman but you know you can't take her home to mom. Well that bike is the same way for me it looks like it's made only for the race track. You can't ride that thing around the neighborhood and still keep your "nice" reputation. We all know your intentions with that bike-to go racing. Well done.

Cheers for the nice words folks, I am well pleased with how it came out. It is also my first non-chrome bike!!
The tyres are made by Mitsuboshi and were around in 83 here in the UK, I have some blue ones on my TB Hauler

SICK build. I dig those black XC IIs. Did they come like that? Or have they been modified? Never seen a set w/black bodies. The AP bars are wild...they fit a giraffe. Great attention to detail...

Thanks Gooser, the XC II's were NOS prior to fitting. I think these were made a later but am not sure what years.
AP bars they are huge give the pro frame a lot more room.

Two things, I love the XC-IIs pedal bodies in black and the black and yellow grips really accent the whole bike...killer build!!!

Gotta love that yellow.. Very nice buld..
Do the OS chain tensioners work on bullseyes too?
I was wondering as it would be great to have such killer hubs, but I'm worried about slipping.
Great bike!

Cheers Neil,
It is a f+F I got from Kelly, so if you are in contact with her tell her to drop by and have a nose at it!
She donated it as a charity auction item - I was well chuffed to get it.

I love the yellow paint. Not all bikes look good in yellow but your's definatly looks good. Kind of like an old Mopar.
