OK here we have my NOS Zeronine mini cruiser, two serial numbers, on the BB shell is the #Z1016 and the rear dropout outside face the #MMC202. It has an 18" Top tube and 24 X 1.75 tyres on rims will not fit inside the chainstays which makes me believe it should have 24 x 1 3/8".
If you can assist with any info on this build including dating it, what the finished build should resemble etc. I have had a few tips (thanks Mike N) and would be interested in yours! Does anyone remember these? Do you have any built photo's? Do you have any wheels, Rims Tyres that would suit? This is not a wanted add for components just keen to develop a restoration picture. I have never seen another, have you? Over to you guys! Thanks a lot Clint

Judging by the decals and the gusset I would say late 80's. I didn't know that they made a "mini" cruiser. If you ever get tired of it please let me know. Missing the freestyle f&f and cruiser f&f from my collection. I have the 20" covered.

Zero9Pro should be able to help out with this.
I have some 1 3/8 24 wheels.
You are welcome to try them.

Well, I`m not sure about the mini cruisers or the years, the pro cruiser I have is a late 85 it has the same style decals, no gusset on headtube and the serial # is on the BB only. The forks look the same, rear drop-outs are way different but the frame design looks the same. Hope this helps and I`ll post a pic of mine.

Nice pics zero9pro24 thanks
Andy It is a Euro BB and I just slipped a 24 x 1.75 comp 3 on a UKAI 24 x 1.75 rim and it fittted, so what would you think if not 24? Admitedly it was close to the fork crown but it would run which makes me think with the 1 3/8 24 rims it would be right. The chainstays are so narrow coming out the BB that it must be for the thinner tyres. The 1.75 rubs. Also check the high brake bridge its sooo narrow. will attach more pics. Interested in the wheels Andy just to get an idea of fit, cheers.
Old-skull no Z on the head tube gusset.

Andy has a good point by asking "Euro BB"? That is extremely rare (I think?) to see a Euro BB on a 24, even if it is a "Mini" cruiser.
Dang, sure is a nice frameset

Yeah I know Mike it seems weird. I think I am going to have to take a couple of pics with both 24" and 20" wheels in. I have a set of 20 x 1 3/8" So I will chuck them in as they are larger than the 20's. Personally I feel confident it should have 24's but I would love to be proven wrong. Its turning into an interesting project and has yet to start. Ha!!

very trick - threaded Euro BB.
That brake bridge is real close to the seat post too.
Dunno if you have noticed, but with 20" x 1 3/8 wheels they have a larger diameter than a 20" x 1.75 wheel.
I suspect it's the same with teh 24" versions.
So, if a 24" x 1.75 doesn't fit I doubt a 24" x 1 3/8 would.

Its the old trick with 20 x 1 3/8 wheels. They are indeed a larger diameter than 20 x 1.75, so in most cases, a MX900 or MX1000 has too long a reach, and a road bike caliper needs to be used.
Thats what I have on my 83 GT Expert (using 1 3/8 wheels).
I dont ever recall seeing 24 x 1 3/8 wheels on the track in my racing days. Were they more a mid-late 80's thing?

Sorry guys not sure if I made myself clear. The 24 x 1.75 fits fine diameter wise its the width in the narrow chainstays that is the problem. I would be interested if anyone has any magazine adds that may show the Zeronine range. There is not much info readily available on 09 products. Dig those mags out! Cheers

looks like a cw micro mini cruiser also stamped for zeronine, probably late 85 or early 86.that is the mmc # and the z on the bb is kinda odd,but back then, everyone made frame sets for the small companys.if the f+f stickers are original this is one rare set in my opinion.very cool indeed.

Bon Jovi fantastic info. I have looked at that site so many times as it is a great site but I did not even contemplate the CW manufactured Zeronine stickered option. It is obviously CW made with Zeronine stickers fitted from the 24 Pro Elite I don't think they had any other 24" sticker set (someone please prove me wrong). I wonder why it was built thus. Sponsored rider maybe? Any how great to have found that out, thanks for all your input and help guys. Now I just need to identify what bars, stem, wheels, tyres crank lengths etc. Mike you reckon this would have been ridden by 13 yr olds. I wonder as its a micromini if it was aimed at a younger class of rider maybe on 24 x 1 1/8" Anyone? Thanks
