Yup, I'm into riding some this weekend. Friday practice ( a little ) and then race Sat. I might not practice Friday and help Hannah out, but I'll be there. She needs a little push so I better step up.

Nice bike Jay. This should work out better. I never knew anything about Kappa's until yours. I thought I'd stick with the common frame, like the FMF. I've seen 7 other 24" frames, all different makes and there the samething.....LOL

I hope I'm not around the day you get those pedals in the chin. I'd get some DX copies instead. I think there a whole 12.00 a set and you won't have the marks to prove you owned a bear trap.

Wedall- your bike'll look sick w/ the black paint. That looks to be the same frame.

Apold, you get rid of your stock FMF bars? I need to bump the bars up on my bike just a touch, they are too low for me. I am going to try another stem on there too, but it feels like the BB is too high w/ them on there.

We need another Baby Blue racer, don't you dare paint that thing.

Cool looking cruiser.. But I still need a cruiser, that more like a cruiser,, those cruisers, are more like 20 inchers.... But some 20" bars on that baby... stand up and be tall..

You might be right. I think Paul's 24" has silver or chroms rims, so right away I was thinking it wasn't Paul's....Cool bike though.

Paul told me he had a NASCAR collection he was ebaying, so the rest of his stuff gave it away.

BTW RetBuger....pop in and say hey here once in a while! Sandburger lay's around and eats BonBon's on the couch all day depressed and worrying where you are at. (or so he say's)

Hmmmm, well I hope he sells the bike to someone in MN. I needs to stay here. According to Paul he bought that from Sean/Larry Miland, so I'd REALLY like to see Sean get it back if thats the case.. Wow!

Here's a crazy story. I sold my CYC "ames" frame to one of the Underhills and Sean's GJS ended up in there Family as well and last I heard they still had them. We were also told it all got stolen recently too, so who knows. I want my CYC back damn it!!! I'd pay to get that cracked monster back

I dont recall selling any Tahoe to Paul Cater though. I wish I knew where this story comes from? If Paul says he bought it from us...well..maybe he remembers it differently or who knows. I sold my cruiser to John Corbin- he was a kid here in Austin a few years younger than me. I ran into him 7 oy 8 years agho and he said he still had it and gave me his number to buy it from him. I never called him until a year ago. My 20 inch bike was stolen If I remember right. As far as other bikes I had from Tahoe, I sent the new Tahoe owners bikes/frame- forks back to him in Indiana in the fall of 1983 and kept the free Vans shoes and outfit.

MC , it looks like the CONDO CLASSIC is all ready to go, but what's up with 50% of the entrys going to the girls ???

In breif.... 50% well go to all the female racers that reg. that weekend, towards their fees as future use at the Barn.... Meaning if 10 old schoolers show up $80.00 will be shared amongst them for a discount towards entry fee's during the 2007-2008 Barn indoor season. I'll ,explain more later in detail, It's all about supporting the sport and helping it grow all together...

MC , that sound good !!! I think it would be nice to help the little guy's , like the 5 and under class rides boys and girls too.

We had a fun night of racing tonight, 16 moto's in all...

41-45 consisted of:

Brad Apold (1st)
Jeff Moe (2nd)
Paul Springer (3rd)
Bill Sympson (4th)

Nobody got hurt, Bill got a little scraped up doubling back in the first berm in the 2nd qualifer moto. As best I can understand he was lining me up for the pass, popped the clutch and slipped out. If he would have asked I would have gladly yeilded, well maybe not.

Apold almost hit the table coming out of the rythms entering the first berm backwards, it looked spooky from my angle. All in all it was a great night.

GOOD NEWS: It sounds like there might a great lead on getting those stolen bikes back. Details to follow.

Yeah, I was trying to get lined up for a potential pass on the inside (assuming I got close enough), when my tires decided that it would be more fun to NOT be on the ground.
I guess I just came into that area of the turn a bit too hot.
No big deal, elbow & knee pads helped. It was worse going into Moto 3 a little leery of sliding out again. Ignorance is bliss!
It was another fun night of racing regardless.

I think it was really slick yesterday. More so than I ever remember. Usually my big complaint is Moe's elbows and crazzzzy riding style... LOL!!! Just kidding Jeffey... Your the most consistant rider I know.... Props to you man! Props to Pauli and bYll as well. We had fun huh?
