Yea, Jeff was riding much better than I that weekend - that's what I get for getting off the bike for a month before the first televised race in MN.

I use to run into Mike all the time. He use to play in a band my friend was in (7 day weekend) back in the mid 90's. I also heard he was doing a touring thing (cool for him). After 7 day, he played in a all girl band called "Avoiding Tom" back in the late 90's. LMAO, I don't think the gals could find a drummer, so they grabbed Mike.... Smart choice, he's really good!!!!!

Jason Berg was on here for a while, but haven't heard from him. The Berg Brothers lived in Stewartville next door to a great friend of mine (Aaron Kolb). Aaron's family moved to Austin during his High School days, as his Mom got a job as a Teacher. Small world!!!!

I think that guy in the open face is Gary Mason, he hangs out in the race forum & is no slouch from what I've seen.

Talked to Russ & he seems to think he will start going back next weekend.
We here just finished up our first two weeekends of indoor racing now it's about a months wait until the next weekend. I'll have a race report up in the race forum by this evening. How about some pics from the barn guys?

Russ foot Friday. Yep, he's ready to ride!

Ok, so I wasn't racing, but I did manage to spend time in the dirt this weekend. Eagan has a "Bikepark" at the Lexington/Diffley Athletic Facility, located oddly enough at the corner of Lexington & Diffley.
Public, City supported dirt jumps! They have jumps for all skill levels. I rode sat & had a lot of fun no pics of me riding, but here's a small overview:

What a coincidence. That's a cool park.

I just logged in to let everyone know that there is a meeting tonight at the Maple Plain City Hall at 7:00.

We're looking for local parents, individuals who are interested in helping with construction and such. They have already approved the location, laid a small pump track, and have dirt ready to dump.

If you are interested, show up - or get a hold of me about future meetings.

Happy b day to Ditch and KOP.

Missed ya at PEP'S this wknd Ditch.

Jerry, now that you've turned 18 is your mom gonna let you move out?

I did'nt catch the guys name at PEP's but he brought a complete TAHOE. Cool frame.
Paul Springer
Greg, great to see you around again! I hope all is well with you.
King of Pipeline
Move out.. Not sure it's in the budget at this time... Got any pics of that Tahoe???
psycho
Springer, all is well on the home front. Hope to see you guys this winter up at the barn.

KOP, sorry no pics bro.
King of Pipeline
I was just watching the old 1982 Richfield race.. Dave C. really kicked booty in that race.. He had it right from the start.. That must have been one of the best races, winning at the home track...

I remember this summer when I was racing Mankato, have Dave C. right next to me ion the gate,in the main.. It was just one of those moments, I will not forget..

No worries on the locker sharing Brad!

It's always a good time riding at the barn. Moe, DC, Brad & Lindsay were there. The track is faster and smoother than ever. Rachel Christensen was looking great, I think DC has another one bitten by the BMX bug.

If anyone is interested I am thinking about having a Grands video watching party, everyone is welcome. Come over and watch all the MN BMX racers down in Oklahoma on the multi-plex screen (LOL). good2.gif

Ya, that was fun ^last year. I watch the semi's and few mains (if I remember).

I'd love to hit the Grands myself. I can go, but the lack of riding is telling me not to. damn! I felt very rusty last night.

You might see me racing tomorrow, but mostly likely next Sat. instead.
