Pauli , I thought u were out of town ???

Pauli is one of those techno geeks. He stays connected even on the road.

It's looking like Saturday night is good for me. I would like to do Friday practice, but it's going to work out this week. I have to get my 200 sprints, 200 squats, & 200 Redbulls in to catch up to the Hacksaw. worried_anim.gif

So, are more people racing on sat, as opposed to sunday? If that's the case, I'll see if I can adjust my plans to fit that.

Hey Jeff, we've missed you at the track. Hope all is going well. From the sound of it, the Condo Classic will be in early January.

Roger that. Sat would be best for me. Sunday sounds really wet again, not that it matters.

Bill, lets us know which day? Great if you can make it.

Paul, my net is down on the satellite connection... Call me with vbmx updates.

It sounds like most people will be in on sat. My plans for sat have changed, so I think I'll be in for sat as well. This way we'll have a class for sure.
It's always more fun that way!
See y'all sat!

Hey guys... I went to the barn and I'm possibly on the injury list. I went down in the first corner last night on my hands, elbow and shoulder. It seemed like a harmless fall, but once I picked up my kid this Morning I realized how sore I am.. I repost later to let the 35-40 cruiser guys know if I'm going. I should be okay.. damn it!!!!!!!!!! Boecker and Matt had a good laugh.. smile.gif

Its not the road rash that hurts. I feel like someone twisted my arm until I said " I give" Its hard to hold my arm straight out... I can still make a fist though.. angel.png

KOP, I would love to see you at the Condo Classic. Maybe you will introduce your girlfriend to us this time instead of hiding her on the other side of the track at Fairbo.

Now which girlfriend was this? The rich one or the tranny? It's so hard to keep track of KOP's conquests these days. tongue.gif

The question is: Can you still pedal? Sorry to hear about your crash. I understand completely what you're saying. I'm going tonight and Jay is going to follow me up to try out that pretty new bike of his. Bill, if you're in, we should still have a class tonight. Keep us post Brad. Get some rest and put a new coat of polish on. You'll be fine.

I'll check in later to see if anything has changed. Moe, are you planning on being there tonight?

Moe is working today and tomorrow and won't be racing at all... per Jeff.

Chucky, It hurts like crazy. I took some Ibru, so maybe that will help. I hope so. I was running pretty good and felt great last night. I was talking to Boecker for an hour or so and then hopped back on the bike and just went like normal... I should have warmed up again. I was trying a dive manuever and just lost it at the top of the berm and dove straight down onto my shoulder/back/hands.. I need gloves..

Brad, I completely understand. When I crashed, my hip area hurt so bad when I would pedal that I didn't feel like riding. Don't feel bad for not racing. I heard the payout isn't that great tonight. unsure.gif

hey guys- I just wanted to let ya know my dad Larry Miland loved hanging out with you BMX guys/kids. Of course Mark Conley was his fave maybe. Brad Apold and Jay Wendt always brought some good memories for him when we talked about the old days. Rob Tracy did alot with us too. Rob was like a son to him when we were out BMX'n on the road. Most of all,I think my dad felt a kinship with the BMX scene and it brought us really close during the teen years. BMX really gave our family a unified purpose for a quite a few years. Awesome memories there guys. I'll miss ya dad.

Jay, cool you made it. Its an awesome place to ride isn't it? I little intimidating at first too. We've all gone through that... But once you hear that gate drop for the first time, its like, oh ya, I remember that and its all good from there. Congrats!!

Jay, not liking the Kappa now?? I don't ever see them around and know nothing about them other than they look sweet, I see a 20" from time to time.
Some of the new frames like MC's C-yaa line, SC, Avent, Intense, and the FMF's ( which are the same as about 40 others) are stiff frames. The FMF is LONG (22" tt) ..I think Scmidty has a slightly used one for sale pretty cheap. (FYI).

Last nights racing was interesting to say the least. Pretty good turnout. Big Rig showed up with his boys to race. It was cool to see Bill back at the track. Bill Sympson also made it to the barn for some racing and Jay made his debut on that awesome "looking" Kappa.

Things were good until the first moto when Jay took a hard digger at the first double. We all stopped because it didn't look good, but the safety gear did its job and Jay was just fine. Jayson said he could see the chain sag due to the frame flex. After we got things tightened up, Jayson put it up against the wall and it was amazing how much the rear end moved. Very scary.

Jay, I hope you're feeling better soon. You definitely left your mark on the first jump.
Heir Vendt
Thanks Scott.

I'm a little sore, but I expected that.

The 661 body armor saved me for sure. Along with the new fox helmet. (now sans visor and breather plastic) I was pretty amazed at the Shadow gloves. They did rip, but I'm barely scraped at all. The modern gear is really good!

I now have an excellant excuse to watch Football all day. wink.gif

KOP that is due to the default being set to "+" when you hit reply.
You can either highlight and delete before writing, or click the quote button first(switches it to - and red) then click reply.

It's a little backwards IMO compared to what I'd expect. It "Looks" like you can either hit quote or reply. But that isn't how it opperates.

Ya, Jay, I hope your alright man. I don't care how good a rider is, it hurts when you go down. Sounds like you went down allot harder than I.
I was alright Sat. I was goofing around and fell because of it. Its a move I've done a million times before and there I was, on the ground after rolling down the berm.... and I was at the top when I lost it... LOL!!! I wish I had video of that. Probably funnier than when Scott said I suck!!! Scott, did you and Matt see me loose it or after the fact???

I won't be there Friday as I have one of the last gig commitments left over. thank god! Long story, but my friend needed me to fill in for him for about 1 year because he moved and 9 months is all I can take.. Haaahaaaa... Maybe Sat or Sun race.

No more replays. I gotta stop pretending I'm you. LOL! I can't pull all that stuff off like you can.

BTW, Scott I spoke to a guy at Phil Wood today. I was looking for the decals on the hubs that wore off, anyway, like I thought they are screened on there, so no luck. He was cool though and wanted to see pics of them on the bike. They are the oldest cycling component US company still existing today. 1971 they got there start. It was an intersting conversation. They rebuild hubs for around 40.00, but his words were a little play is how there suppose to be and its no signs anything is wrong. If anything he said its the optimum performance from the bearings. Its just play between the bearing and the beargin race... Okay I'm done now.. Sorry, but Phil was always a fasinating company to me as a kid.
Paul Springer
Wow Jay, I hope everything is okay. It sounds like you went down good.

Anyone else racing this coming weekend?
