It is on Mtka Blvd.
There are softball fields right there now. Hmmm. Exactly what is at Shorewood now too. Stupid softball freaks wasting real estate.....lol.
Can you share Google Earth locations with links? I have some of the old tracks pinned, but I don't know if you can post where you put a pin, or if you can share links to an area. But if it is possible, I can post some up, but I haven't figured out how to yet.

Cool Man. .
Shorewood's starting gate was about where the first base dugout is on the 3rd BB field north of Hwy 7 in the red box in Paul's pic, and the first straight headed straight west towards the woods. The second and third berms were along the outfield fence of the baseball field.

This pic of opening day was on the starting hill looking SW. 2 BB fields were there during SBMX times. The third BB bield replaced the track. All of the BB fields to the north are post SBMX as well.
The layout was west, south, east, NW, east. Until the extension in 82 was added at the end.

Cool Paul, I think I was close on that location of Big Willow. I think that big complex off the the right is the Mtka City Center. The others i didn't remember the location at all, except the Pioneer trail/EP track. I think I remember that one a little. I wasn't at EP probably more than about 2-3 times though, same with Shorewood.

Cool posts Pauli. The only track location that is still open is the Richfield spot. There is some city equipment parked there along with some dirt piles, but for the most part, it still looks the same.
How did racing go this weekend Paul? Brad, did you go out and pad your points lead over Dave?

No I didn't go. There was no 36-40 guys anyway so I would have raced Rickson's class again (17x) , which is more than fine with me, but its like racing 6 guys like Lyndey and its hard not to get caught up in "trying the race them all". They can turn things on after the first corner were guys like you and get left in the dust.. Damn Young'ns!

If your IN this weekend, I'll show up. I have nothing going on at this point. Pauli's not going, so it'll probably be you, me and Moe forsure.

How did racing go this weekend Paul?
I raced Moe both Saturday & Sunday. Saturday we ran with Terry "The DQ Kid" & Sunday Don Palmer (Delaware #1 from a few years back). I got second behind Moe on both days, I am slowly closing the gap. It was really hot and humid both days but totally worth it.
I am out for this weekend, we are going down to Ann Arbor again for Michigan vs. Purdue. For everyone that races roll hard and be safe!

Was that (the crash) after the first jump? There was a hard fall the first Friday practice too. That weekend was a wirlwind for me.

Very nice looking bike Jay. Good thing she's black. After that OS race at the Barn, I couldn't believe all the black tire marks on my frame. I think I got those while trying to give Brad room on the track. Apparently he has trouble going in a straight line.
I see that Isanti is trying to have one more outdoor race this Saturday. I may try to go one last time. I love that track and it would be nice to be outside one more time. If that doesn't work out, I would like to make it to the barn one day this weekend. Like Brad said, which ever day is the best chance to race in our age group.

You said it. I did have straight line issues that day. Actually my first 3 races were the worst of it (not sure which class), but by the mains I was okay, just a bit tired, like everyone was that day accept Boecker

.
I'll never race again until those conditions I had. I don't want to hurt myself and certainly not anyone else. I had the speed but no coordination. scary combo.
I guess lets keep in touch about sat or sun. If Jay and you raced, there's a class. Maybe Boecker will race too. Either way, it would be fun.
