I'll be there in the morning. Will moto sheets be posted on the side of the Winnebago? Is Erdman running the gate, or Dave Ronken?
Dave, I'll pay gas for your camper if you ride that bike in Chequamegon this year.

Booger, was nice seeing you today! To bad you didn't make it in time for registration.
The cool part of today was just like BITD, we raced at Cannon, and still made it in time for St. Michaels Redline cup!
A few pics from St. Michael below. Since Cannon was a Golden Oldie event I used the old 35mm, so am waiting for them to be developed...More on that later...
REALLY SMALL turnout today for being a Redline Cup Qualifer.
DC, lookin all smooth today, he pulled off a 2-1-1. The Mad Blogger made him work for it though.

I bet Cannon Falls is sweet. It was good to see everyone at St.M's little turnout. Either the economy is killing bmx now too, or triple point races are the same as a single. I couldn't believe my eyes.
How many motos did you guys have?
I start my outdoor schedule next weekend, the first of 3 races I have booked out. Time for racing this summer is in short supply for me so 3 weekends in a row & maybe the SCF's.
I talked to Russ a few days ago, he's home full time now until things play themselves out. He really isn't taking any calls (unless he really wants to talk to you) but he sends his greetings. Mark, I'll tell you what, we had some good laughs over the day you went over there, thanks again!

DC did a great job yesterday, Lance definetly made him earn it. Lance White's blog is a pretty good read and he has some good video on there as well.
He had some interesting comments:
More concerned with delivering the hit, than just winning the race. Move over hacksaw Boecker, I think we will just call Lance "coping saw" for now till he delivers some more hits.

I didn't think you guys were racing this weekend. I stayed home and worked on the Brainerd track both days. Bummer, but since I have the keys, I did manage to get a lot of laps in as well.
I really hope you guys can make it up for the state race. We're light years ahead of last summer. Jeff Manning has been out quote a bit helping with the shovel. I actually think he's in line to fill an open board member spot which is cool.
St. Cloud tomorrow night anybody? I'll be there vending so I'll bring the bike along.

Ditto - guess I didn't get the memo on St. Michael, and didn't really understand what was going on in Cannon Falls - and it was looking like rain. I would have went to St. Michael, but I thought you guys we're all in Cannon Falls.

The Brainerd state weekend is July 25-27 (single, double, double) with the actual state race on Sunday. It would be great if you made it up Shawn. Brett Bermel's son was going to start racing this year but hasn't made it out yet. Regardless, I'll drag Brett out to the track.
I'm also up for hosting a party barge tour of Round/Gull lake Saturday after the races if anyone is up for it.

Well guys I was so looking forward to seeing you all at Rockford but I am out now. Too many things have piled up and I am opting for the NBL State race at Waterford so the kids can ride too.
I have missed Rockford 4 years in a row now and am burning up about it but I'll be around. If anyone is going to the ABA grands I am planning to go this year.
Good luck at the Rock and Isanti Nationals.

Awesome Gary, it would be good to see Brett again. Maybe I can get my GF to go for a couple of days at Gull that weekend, could be a good solution as I'm doing a guys trip on the moto-bike the following weekend and she's not so happy about me going up north without her.

I've been to Rockford the last 4 years and it's been hot everytime.. Thankfully this year we missed the rain.. It was perfect.
I bought an OM Flyer there. A 26 inch rider.. But the stem is messed up.. I can't get the main bolt out. What you supposed to do about it? That top bolt if, I can't tighter it or loosen it, its just broke inside or something,, how can I fix it.....
That main bolt that tightens it down, just turns. I cant' tighten it or loosen it...How can I fix this problem. I want to ride this bike.. This bolt he's tightning just turns..both ways.. I can't get the stem off... what can I do??

I agree Mark. I seem to always compare everything to the Klein Attitude or my Trek 8000 MTB. My 03 Mesa GTX just doesn't compare and the parts are probably light years more advanced, but it doesn't ride the same. My biggest gripe was the sponge shock up front. I made a bracket for the otherside to fit another spring inside the trees. I bought the stiff "Showa" sping x 2 and monted them and its really stiff now. Much better. My wife's 96 Gary Fischer (14.5" frame) is really cool too. Total wheelie bike.

Which you all know is the acronym for Minnesota Mountainbike Outing For Old Bmxers.
The idea is to set a date sometime this summer and enjoy an easy-paced, sexy ride on some sweet MTB trail, followed by some refreshments and injury comparisons. I might even arrange for a BMXA Trick Team show afterwards.
Does this sound sexy, er, STOKE, to y'all?
