OS friday night racing sounds good to me. I will be there on the 4th to ride but after that im only racing Nationals.

Maybe you can give me tips. Lord knows I'm gonna need it. Isanti here I come. My first national in 25 yrs.

Nah, never felt totally at home on a 24", not saying I don't like them. I have this 20" set up pretty good, and I bet you'd haul on it, but only at nationals. The 20" IMO, is easier to ride, atleast at the barn. I don't care for the barn like I use too. To small, but it is a place to ride.

Is anyone planning on going to Rockford to race this year? I'm thinking I'd like to make the trip.

LOL, Nope, grew up and did all my early racing in AZ, and CA, never made any regular appearances anywhere much further east than OK. I did race once in Utica NY when I was 13. We were back visiting family on vaca and I brought my bike. The AZ thread is were I hang out. I just drop in here every 10 pages or so to rattle some cages.

Yup, Joey still rides very well. He's been barn'n allot the past few weeks. I'm not sure his front wheel touches the ground the entire time on the track. Amazing. Rockford would be fun to race, looks like fun anyway. Maybe Brad "the time bomb" Apold will go. LOL!!!

Used to consistently make it in 4 hours

Went there every other weekend one summer. I was almost a Rockford local.

Today (sad to say) you can call it Minne-snowta. F'n cheeze-arse weather. Its been in the 40-50's all week, 90% of the snow gone and now this!!! Doesn't matter, this time of the year we could melt 5" in one day with the sun now stronger.

I know it can be done in that short of time. I made it from the NW burbs of Minneapolis to Arlington Heights (NW Chicago burb) in 5hrs in a gas gussling RX-7 turbo. Stopped 3 times for gas. Hey, HP costs money..

Dan, your a freak and I wouldn't admit being a potential Rockford local. Four hours is nuthin with all the VW powahhhh!

That's fantastic Tall Paul! I fell hard last Fall and it took awhile to get back on, granted my injuires weren't even close to yours, but it still hurt damn it

We had a fun night of racing last night. Brad did really well on his 20 inch racing the young bucks, he pulled out a 3rd. I had total point with Moe and a new 27 year old guy. I went 2-2-1 and Moe went 1-1-3 after bobbling over the triple and somehow I was able to pull off the win over Moe. It was a total fluke but I will take it, fortunately Moe stayed up and safe but could not recover to get back on the track. We had a good chuckle at the end of the race about it. Before moto #3 I was explaining to the new guy the likelyhood of the results based on the law of averages. At the end I told him there was one more unlikely possibility if Moe finished 3rd and I got 1st, Moe overheard my explanation and I could not have scripted it better, lol. Fun times!

ya Pauli I had fun running against Lyndsey. I had a pretty cool 2nd place going into the first corner and got nudged and almost got sent over the berm (for real) so I nailed the brakes was in dead last and in concession corner I pulled an OS move, planting the foot down, then dove straight down into 3rd place with zero contact. Not sure how that worked but it did.
