As Posted BND's post On The Racing Side:
We went to Nancy's benefit tonight. GREAT turnout! Food was great, and the silent auction did great as well!
Russ was there, but unfortunately Nancy is in the Hospital as of yesterday, and could not make it.
I heard a lot more details of her cancer struggles that she has gone through over the past few years, that I had not heard about in detail before. Amazing, that one person can be so strong!
Nancy and Russ, all of our thoughts and prayers are focused on you. Stay strong and we'll all be there giving our support.
I have a few pics from tonights benefit that I'll post tomorrow

Thanks for the birthday wishes guys.
Kearney was a great experience. I cannot believe the talent out there. I felt very fortunate to make one of the mains.
Pauli gets the superman award for the weekend. 1100 miles of driving through all kinds of weather and he took 6th in both his mains. It must be that funky music he listens to.

Hang in there Brad. Hopefully this cold weather pattern will break and we can make the faction ride on the 29th work. Maybe we need to pick a Friday night practice and have some casual OS racing again. We can call it practice for the 2009 Condo.
Anyone hitting practice this friday?

Depending on how the Ultrabox 20" feels I may race Sat myself. I know the 44/16 w/ 180's is to much for me, but we'll see.
I'll most likely be there either way.

Which GT?

The CYC, I'm giving to my Brother. Shhhhh, its a surprise b-day present.
I don't want to quit building, even though I have too, unless I sell some of these rides. I just don't have the room. My goal was always to build one and sell it, take the cash and try again. Its not suppose to be a gain of money, just a gain of owning the bikes I always wanted but never had.. At this point, I only have bikes I owned as a kid. Somehow I did this bassakwards.. LOL! The only frames I really want is the DG-racer1 and the Ames/Pedals Ready GT. True 70's bmx bikes.
Ditch. Do that. Drop me a line & I'll try to get down there. Does this park have a website or anything I can check out?

As luck would have it, Bradley,
I did in fact, used to ride an alligator in Florida,

so there is no need for a photochop....

Here is the day I brought him home for my room-mate to see. (Of course I hadn't blown him up yet), but I surfed my gator all the way to shore many times....Fortunately, sharks don't eat alligators, so we were safe from sharks when riding my alligator.
The other item of note in this pic, is that we were too poor to pay the sewer and water bill, so we just punched a hole in the front step.
All in all, just another typical day in my life at college in Florida.
Just remember who you're messin' with there Bradley. I did ride alligators in Florida. I'm only boring now because I usually HAVE been there AND done that...And I always get even, and usually ahead.
So don't start with me man.....!
