Maybe we should recycle some of our old trophies, my parents insisted I keep all my old trophies, but now (20+ years later) they want me to clean out the attic. Sounds like a weekend project.

Regarding practice at rehebeins they were talking about tenatively on Wednesday night. It all depends on how the track dry's after the sealant application.

I went digging through my snowboard pic's and found one of my first Backhill's. This was from a road trip to Killington Vermont. I think this was 1985 or so...

Paul, thanks! Those are some old pics. The first time I damaged my knee was on a Performer Elite, I was at Snowshoe in West Virginia - while taking a connector between runs I'm coming up on this woman who is freaked out by the sound I'm making and proceeds to turn right into my path as she's looking over her shoulder to see me, I laid it down - caught one of those metal edges and pop went my knee.

I just googled and came up with this - snowboard museum.

Weird thing about that trip - I was bombing some back runs and I run into Jeff Starr. He and I were in a band together, and best buds in high school.

That board looks like the one Ted is talking about - there was the Backhill, the Performer, and the Performer Elite? Wish I still had my Airwalk? boots from Burton ('85). I wore those things down to nubs. I'm still riding a Burton BTW.

The fork on my bike dials down to 85mm (up to 130). It's pretty stiff, but I think I'll need to go one stiffer on the spring for BMX. Couldn't be easier to swap it out, just pull the right cap and swap em. The fork is getting painted white after Condo.

Sweet, that museum page brings back some memories. I still ride burton's as well, pretty loyal to the brand. I have an older Supermodel 162 & a CustomX 164. I had a Craig Kelly Air, Air 6.1, 2 Sims Switchblades (5 ply & synthetic). I remember one year when I was living out in Breckenridge we snuck in to the hot tubs at Beaver Run where my buddy was the bell captain and there sat Damian Sanders (Avalanche) and his new wife Brandy Sanders. That was the year she was Penthouse Pet of the year, YIKES. We should try and organize a night ride out at Buck Hill sometime.

There was an original MN thread started by Tom Erickson before most of you guys were around and it wasn't very big. I know Sheely, Tom and few others were on there, but that's all I can remember.
That thread was lost because it sat for more than a year with no traffic. The BIG thread was started by KOP SPring 06 and thats the one that was lost.

Now who would have done that?..... BTW, it wasn't"just" a blowup doll....It was a John Sandberg doll. Worth big bucks now days

MC, I just went snowmobiling with Jeff Karsten yesterday, and he and Mark are both going to try and make it Friday. I am trying to arrange a visit by an OS T.O. as well.

I'm copping a 'tude about working Friday, and I think I am poised to tell them that I am taking the day off, as opposed to asking for it.

As such, I need a rider for Jeremy and I, and I'd say I should be able to fit a couple of show bikes as well. Choosing which rider to bring is tough, but choosing which 2 show bikes (to get covered in dust) is tougher .

Hey Scooter, ya its really fast and grippy/tacky. My Hybrid tyres works really nice on there (IMO). Once I got warmed up and stop jumping for air (AKA-F'n around) I could really tell the difference. I was taking it pretty easy for the most part and did some quick laps towards the end.. You'll like it.
