What years were they made and color available? Anybody have any pics?

I have a mid 80s PL24 and it is chrome....to be honest with you I only recall seeing them in chrome. When it was new it was dressed like this:

Chrome Forks, Bars and Frame, seat post.
Black Brute Redline stem
Tange chrome headset
Segino 175mm cranks
DX pedals
Black chain ring
Ukai (sp?) rims, black with natural sides.
DX1000 front and rear brakes, Black
Suntour low flange hubs
Black MX seat
Black and gray Frame, Stem and bar pads (I would pay REAL GOOD MONEY for an NOS set.)

Off the top of my head this is what I remember. I still own the bike and I'm slowly collecting parts for a complete restoration. I have been restoring Dodge and Plymouth muscle cars for the last twenty years so I got the detail part down. I have had a few bike in the past but this is the one that gave me the most memories.

I'm sure they were available in white too?

by '85/86 they were available in the the half-chrome 2-tones. chrome rear with white/turquoise/yellow/red front ends.

Thats what I want to hear mr coasterbrake. I have a NOS red/chrome frame. I just want to make sure it wasn`t something special being that it`s two tone.
