My 24"

Got this one awhile ago. Still in the box, need to build it.

And finally, going to pick this one with the gear up tomorrow morning.

What do you have???

your going to have to change your name to champion Nick.

It is funny to look at the trophies. I have the same blue, brown and black trophies on the left side that I got from Debtford Dust Bowl BMX (NJ in 83 & 84). I always liked the Champion, Thruster Tri-PWR & the Profiles w/the third bar. Sharp bike dude...

This is my opinion only but the "newer" Champions don't look as cool as the Schwerma era ones, maybe because I have 2 of them, one that I ride daily.

Show off!

I had one of every production model. Never really got a good family picture though. Still have my Schwerma and my two dual down tube cruisers!

There is no greater machine than the Schwerma Champion!

Dan, as the young kids say..."I'm feelin' ya". I have pictures of what I think is the first Champions at an indoor race at Santa Clara in late 75. John Wells and a couple other guys had them, I have a pic of John and Doug Schwerma after John won, Doug has a Champ under his arm.

Bill C just acquired a badass Schwerma Champion. I've seen the the bike first hand and it is one awesome survivor!

I truly appreciate the Schwerma Champions as well guys. These particular models are represenative of what I can remember at Champion when I would go there with Jim Emerson to pick up frames.
I have a friend in The San Fernando Valley who has a Twin down tube with the squareback 26" I am trying to pry from him.
Thanks for the replies.

I have had two of the 26 twin downtubers. Here's a shot of the last one I had!

I also had a nickel one about 10 years before I owned this one.

That's what I'm talkin about. Hey Shannon, you said you had a nickel one as well? Man that would be awesome. Thanks for the pic.

Yep, key word is HAD a nickel one. I sold it many moons ago. Pre-ebay days. I remember it rode kind of wierd, the bike seemed to ride tall with a short wheelbase. Now keep in mind I'm about 6'2".

Heck, I can't even remeber who I sold it to. LOL!!!

Man, I had a lot of stuff BITD.
