Anybody ever see one of these???
Just finished my restoration of a 1977 Masa XR-3. In 1978 I had a single speed version of this bike which was a Masa XR-1. I found this on Ebay a couple years ago and had to have it!! My father paid $199 dollars for my bike in 1978, and the 3 speed, drum brake version was $229 or $239 back then!! We bought it from our local Honda Motorcycle dealer, who was distributing them at the time. This was definately not a "Toy Store" bike. Anybody ever see one or have one of these???

Thanks guys!! This was the first bike I have restored and built...since I was a kid building bikes. I have been accumulating a few parts for about 2 years for other builds but figured I start with the first love of my life. Next on the list is a Chatsworth Mongoose, and then a Hutch Pro Racer. This is worse than a drug addiction.

Randys a good guy, he's just teasin' ya. Darren is a long time collector with lots of cool, stupid rare stuff. He pops up occasionaly and has been collecting bmx bikes since the mid 70's. lol

He had it at Roseville, I think I saw someone walk off with it so he might have sold it. It's in Retro Rag 1 or 2 in the what is it section, that goes back 10-15 years. This is the first time I've ever heard a name put to it.
