Very cool, i've always liked stealth bikes!

sometimes the simplest way to do something is the best way to do it. perfect example. nice job.
Jarvi
Nice one Reece. Stealth is the right way to describe it.

I like it!!

Black looks SWEET! Nice job. I have one I'm working on as we speak too. Mine is a KZ-1, dated 1981, but the downtube decals (which are original) have the Japanese flag above the K, not next to it.

Not sure what to make of that, but the decals are staying put.
showtime
my kz1 is a genuine 81 bike & it has the decals you describe so they are era correct wink.gif
mines still in original finish
the decals with the flag next to the K are the 1979 or earlier ones as far as i'm aware

NSR Jamie

Lightning Bolt seat brings it all together.
So the better question, does it ride like you hoped it would?
I loved the feel of a KZ1, so light and responsive.
QuicksilverBMX
Yeah it rides really smooth but I think i'll put on a layback seatpost, i'm too close to the bars! tongue.gif
