Being that as it may, I've had it in storage for the past while, and he has prompted me to get it out of its rest, and so, in a moment of "build desire" I also got out some spare parts I had in storage also, and put this together. It sure felt good to be doing something "bike" again
It needs a bit of "component tuning", but overall, I think it looks pretty good. Makes me want to be about 12 years old again

My (nearly) 10 year old daughter took a ride on this, and she loves it. She thinks its great to ride a bike "just like dads GT" (1981 GT 26)
Now, I have a 1981 GT Junior frameset sitting here.... Maybe I need to start doing something with it..
