just wondering how the level and or ranking for a member ( intermediate/novice/expert etcc..) is elevated to the next highest ranking? is it based on length of membership, participation in the forums or some kind of feedback rating? i'm new so i'm just trying to get a handle on things. thanks guys.

To answer your question here's what I cut and pasted from the forum FAQ.

What are user titles?

Each registered member has a title that reflects his or her "rank" on this board. Administrators are given the title "Administrator". Moderators are given the title "moderator". Some members are given special titles by the administration. All other users are given their titles based on the number of posts they have made:
Posts Title
0 Looking over the Fence
31 Novice
75 Intermediate
200 Expert
400 A Pro
1500 AA Pro
3500 Vet Pro
10000 VBMX Legend
15000 BMX Syndicate member

Reading the FAQ is never a bad idea, plus it's so well-written that calling it a work of genius would not be unfair. You know, except for the messed up parts.
