Excellent job man. I am happy to help anytime I can. She's a beauty for sure.
(P.S. It has been so long that I can't remember if was me or Kevin C. at the shop that built that particular wheelset, so I will be sure to share you thanks with him. I know he wanted to see how the finished build turned out).

Thanks ya'll for the great vibes. Funny thing about the bike.
Profiles can be SO skittish to build. Had to work around moving the rear wheel forward enough for the 900's to reach, which put the freewheel so close to the looptail. Then getting the chain tension right. Deciding whether to 'treat' the tires or leave them NOS with release powder (left 'em)...the bike sat on my workstand literally for months while I sweated out those silly details.
Once I posted the 'get me goin' thread', everything just fell right into place. Got off my butt and away from the PC and did it. Things actually went way smoother than my imagination lead me to believe.
I'm even tempted to fully inflate the tires and take a spin, but ..um....maybe not. This was truly a replica of my bike BITD. Back then I had graphites for a couple weeks, which for some reason I traded for white Zrims/suzue sealed. White Z's had just came out and I was enamored.
Now I'm totally ready to finish up some more builds that I WILL actually ride. I'm pumped again!
Thanks again everyone.

LOL 84. Its really not that far away. I need too get tires, a chain, and a rear brake, and the parts list is done.
Then begins the restoration on some of the parts. I've just been in the collecting stage, since I have 3 other bikes I need too finish up. (Quad, Floval, Mauler), with still my last USA made Floval to do, and my Retro Quad.
Besides the fact I havent had any bmx time with all the work Ive been busy with within the last 3 months. I DO plan on finishing her up before Xmas 07. So no, its not tooooo far away.

Thanks again to everyone. If a build can impress Stint, Surf, 84, and Ed, then things went pretty well. Naturally there are still some details I'm not 100% on.
I really wanted to put the polished MX1000's on there, but don't seem to have the patience to REALLY polish them.
I wanted a yellow kash aero like my BITD ride had, but on the very rare occasion one showed up, I missed the boat. The color of those just look better with the type of anno that's on there. (and you know, kash aero, simply the best)
Just little stuff like that. For now I think I'll just leave it as is while concentrating dollars and sense on completing a couple others. Hoping to set up some better pics too.

Wow... really nice. and those bars... jeesh.
...oh, and about the bike sitting on the bike stand for months while you figure out what parts work and what don't... I'm sure everyone does that but.. It also took me forever to build my one show bike. I don't know how many parts I put on that frame set thinking they were perfect when I bought them and then stared at in the garage, pounded a couple beers and said, "damn it, that looks so wrong."
