Hey VBMXers, got a query regarding 'KOS Kruisers' I've got a frame with CIO no.s, saw one on the bay a while back with T-C** no.s and another with E****** frame no.s. Where they all U.S. made? 1980/81 or other years as well?? Any reasoning for the different no.s??

Were any of the Gusseted Mongoose frames made overseas?

I've got an '81 Kos that I bought new late that year with serial # starting H15.... If Ipod is right on the month code this would be August '81 which fits the time frame.

My KOS is CA0 (Chatsworth Jan 1980). I guess it is first month of production?
