Ok, I'm finally getting around to posting pics and info on this project. For starters, check out the
My Rockford project is cursed! thread to get caught up on the events prior to finishing this project. Speaking of finish, I put the last part on this bike, Kashimax MX seat, at the park Saturday morning at Rockford. Thanks Steve, I appreciate it!!! I was sooo thrilled to finally getting this done and bringing it to Rockford for all to see. One person I really wanted to be able to finally show it to was Rod Miles. This guy has been waiting to see this thing done since he did the frame for me. A big Thanks to Rod for the excellent craftsmanship on this frame and also for the offer to help repair it after the accident, you da man Rod! So at Rockford I actually got to camp out next to him, that was pretty cool! I gotta tell ya, his reaction to the bike made all I went through with this project worthwhile. He kept coming over to check it out all day, like he couldn't get enough! LOL! This in itself made this years Rockford pretty special. He also hooked me up with a couple parts I need to finish it off the way I wanted. Anyway, Thank You Rod for all your help. Another big Thank You to Lou for the last minute paint job, another excellent job my friend!!! So below are a couple of pics of the pit for those that weren't at Rockford this year and to those that would like to see it again. Enjoy!!!

that thing is SWEET! did you use a mini frame?

Thanks guys! Yep, I used an RA-8 frame. The fork is just something generic I got off Ebay, but Rod is planning on helping me with a new fork for it, the one on there doesn't look right. The stem, bars and pedals will be the only other things I change out on it.
yep Brett, RA-8 frame. Definitely a slick little ride Ski.
With the updates that are comin, it'll be a show stopper.

Yeah, the updates will make it just what I wanted in the first place, just ran out of time. Pro Neck mini stem will replace the Suntour copy, Race Inc. bars will replace the generic ones and MKS caged pedals will replace the KKT AMX that are on there now. As far as the fork goes, it will get a set that more closely resembles Race Inc. forks. That plus the leg diameter on these throw the whole bike off, doesn't look right.

Get a fork and I will cut it down for free. A Race inc center line fork will look sweet.

Thanks for that Randy! That is my boy wiping down the bike, it was his first and definitely not his last Rockford event! It was a great thing finally being able to share this great event with him. What a wonderful time it was!!!!!!!

Dude, looks GREAT but you REALLY need to use real Race Inc forks IMO.

Thanks Brian! As far as the forks go, the plan is to cut down actual Race Inc. forks, but I got to find a fork that isn't mint, might need a little work and doesn't cost me a pretty penny.

Yeah, I was set up on the other side of you at Rockford. That bike was sweet and your boy made sure it was polished all day long. My wife thought that was so cute. She wanted to give him 10 bucks to come and clean up a couple of ours, never got around to it though, LOL. Race Inc bars will be awesome on there!!!

That is an awesome build. As always, Rod does an outstanding job on his conversions. I just got my Kastan Pitbike conversion back from Rod and have put it together. I am looking forward to next year in Roseville to show it off. I posted it in the Mid-School section for those who would like to look. Again very nice job on your Race Inc. PROPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
