Im not too sure if there was a thread like this, but I wanted to start one of BMX tracks seen from up above. It would be nice to see tracks that are still around rather than buildings or parks nationwide. I found two tracks in my area that have a shot from up above. These tracks can be old tracks or new tracks. The first one is Sunol BMX in Sunol California and PAL BMX in Santa Clara. Im trying to locate other tracks in the bay area. Post your finding from google satelite. Have fun and enjoy.

Rooonga
I was asked to start a BMX racing club in Dagenham Essex (UK) Here's the track I helped to get built.

Rooonga
And this track was the last one I raced on way back when. (1987 I think)

Still gotta great start hill, but most of the track is single bike width.

It's about a 5 minute bike ride from the one I just posted above!

I raced at a track in Lancaster, California. But, I remember the track was located near a nice park. This is a track I found at Lancaster, Cal. but im not sure if its a practice track or a sanctioned track:

Another practice track in Lancaster:

Pracrice track ??? Im not too sure if these are motorcross practice tracks or BMX tracks. There must be alot of fast racers from the Lancaster Calif. area:

Hmm I can only get down to a 200ft scale in Australia vs
the 50ft scale maps you get in the US. Most of the BMX Tracks & other fun places I found show next to no detail
at all.

The infamous 5 Dock Skatepark. Looks really lame from above.

A patch of cement in a green field , BMX tracks look the same , a patch of dirt usually surrounded by trees.
The satellite photo's of Australia are quite old ~5 years or so.

Melbourne or QLD people might have better luck.....

R.Serafin,
That was Lancaster City Park track. I use to race there when I was a kid. That was a very cool track from what I remember. Here is the link to my local track in Simi Valleyweb page

bmxdaddy: Yup. That was it. I remember they held a national there and that was the first time my friend Greg Liggins ( Jag BMX ) quadtripled winning all the races he entered. I have a bunch of photos from that race with afew of Greg Hill ( GT ) and Stu Thompson ( Redline ) and other photos i'd like to post here. But, I don't know how to post photos on this particular website.

The Simi Valley tracks looks nice. Especially with the over and under section.

R,
I would really like to see those pics. I raced at that national and won. I still have a piece of paper the Stu signed for me from that race. Do you remember Gary Laurnet and Wayne Crowsdale? How about the quarter pipe that they had set up in the parking lot? How old were you when you lived there?

The pic of the Simi track is way old. That was the layout a few years back.
R. Serafin
I remembered Wayne Crowsdale. I raced 15 expert at the time when I raced at the nats in Lancaster. We were only there for the race.
