Hey Brett, the guy I got it from said they were Landing Gear. A freind of mine told his buddy I collect old bmx bikes, so today the guy brings it to my work and gives it to me. I was stuned!

Here is a better pic cleaned up. They are stamped LUNG and CROMO on the steer tube. They have very clean welds.

I have seen many looptail Mongoose forks with those same stampings on them (not that I think these are `goose forks, but they probably did come out of the same sweat shop in Japan).

Nice free master frame anyways. What are those cranks you got there? On the forks; the tacked-on end caps, the radial grooves on the drops, and the fact the drops are'nt welded all the way around all point to lesser worth/lower quality to me. Incredible someone just gave you that bike though. Awsome! Congrats!!

not department store copies, but with the radial grooves they are not LG's.Seems like I have seen them before too, just can't put my Finger on it.
Hey Treadway you should see the NOS SE Hauler I got from you about 3 years ago. I gave it a re-build with un-stamped LG's, power wings, grey 7c's with blue spokes and hubs. She sure is pretty.

They ARE Landing Gear COPIES.NOT true Landing Gear. Notice the hole in the bologna cut. That brand repro'd a ton of these forks.
