My wife organized a really cool mountain bike ride for me, in which many friends "just so happened" to drop in on. I'll send Conley a couple photos, once people send them to me.

Gary Erdman came to the shin dig, as did Dave Christensen and Steve Redelsperger. Was awesome to see them. Gary's as strong and funny as ever. Wonderful person.

Anyway, 40 is good. It's the new 30.

You know, I was planning on showing up but first I thought it was the weekend before, then somehow I had the 30th figured as a Sunday. D'oh.

Oh, well, Saturday was a good day for flying R/C too..

It used to be that I had to try really hard to keep up with John, now I have to try really hard just to keep up with myself.....
