I have an old blue Stingray frame serial # HB10063
Does anyone know the year of manufacture? Is ther date codes available for stingrays?

1966......In 1965 the second letter told the year.So 65 was "A", 66 was "B" and so on.They used this code on Chicago made bikes.

First letter tells the month, "A" is January and so on. HB = August, 1966.

When you decode Schiwnn's remember Schwinn did not associate the letter "I" in their serial #'s because it may get mistaken for a 1. So H = August and then skip to J = September. On the second letter, H = 1972 and then J = 1973.
