Looks Tange made - bit of a bugger but I don't think it's worth crying about.
Might have been a lesser Kuwi (not a LaserLite).

Oh - you're from OZ - it might be an Apollo.

It's not a valuable early 1980's Apollo or a Kuwahurra.
I clearly remember those frames had a lot less bends in them than the one on the photo's.
The lack of any visible SN is also a good indicator that this bender is not of any great commercial or historical value.
I'm just saying this to make you feel better Roy.

Hahahe thanks JB and Andy. I'm glad it's not. I thought it would be just my luck to find a Kuwi ALL SMASHED UP. phew...i'm realy glad.

I don't even think Rod Miles can salvage that heap of metal.

No worries, its not a Kuwahara, the drop outs are wrong and don't have those little grooves plus the brake bridge too. Could have been tange made. I have a frame like that right now sitting on my balcony I bought for 8 dollars and it just says BMX, not sure what it is. Dont worry, let her go.......

What is it though? There was one just like it at Rockford with a sign: "Please help ID this frame" Kuwi came up, so did Tange and others. The only difference I can note between this and the Rockford frame is thee Rockford frame had a Redline like front gusset.
The welds looked quality. The angels were clean, the chrome was beautiful & it was light. Definitely not crap.

I think it is a Cycle Pro, like a bonsai. I came across one a few years back. Sold it on the bay for about $12 or so. Had the same dropouts.

I bet Rod could save it (if it really meant that much). Possible pitbike material but I like the windchime and lawn art ideas. LOL
