Are you guys as sick of non-paying bidders on ebay as I am??? Why would some jackass (ebay member flipsb) bid on a frame and fork, then email the seller (me) and say it's too pricey, I'm not buying it. Pretty lame if you ask me. I know the tactic and it sucks. Just trying to get a better deal. I can't blame them I guess, but it's not a price to be haggled on the bay.

Just a stupid rant, it is what it is. I guess I just take things a little more seriously then others. I truly value being a good seller and a good buyer. If I don't want something, or I think it's to pricey, I don't bid. It's that simple for me. I do my research before I bid. Like I said, just a rant and it is what it is. lol!!!!!

Ebay should be more firm on these losers,
they give them 3 chances to back out a year???
the bay dont careif they pay or not, they still collect from the seller.
I had one guy win multi auctions, emailed me for total, and it was the last time I heard from him.
ebay said I could relist and if sells get a sellers credit, 1 item sold and the other did not, so I had to pay twice to list.!@#$!#$%^! ebay...

i sold a nos set of mike buff z rim hoops on evil bay. the guy hit the buy it now, then he asked me 1,oo questions. then he said if he did not get the ebay warranty, hes not going to buy them. so i relisted them, reported himas a non paying. then he hits me with neg feedback, saying that i'm a acam. then ebay does nothing to resolve it. now i have neg feedback because of some jerk off.
Average Joe
That's pathetic. And I agree ebay is to soft on the flakes. I forward to ebay fake email after fake email and they respond with, "yeah that's fake".
No friggin' kidding!!!
Thanks for nothing!!!

Yeah this happens all the time. I sold a Bowflex on ebay one time an a guy bid an outragous amount on it and won. I was Stoked (cause i got the bowflex for free). Anyhow the guy emails me asking what my bottom dollar was! W-T_F? I told him my bottom dollar was what he bid then he leaves me neg feedback saying I was a scam. I was MAD!!

if you go into the seller forum you can chat with a live person, it's usually pretty fast, too.

i just talk em in circles and continue to complain until they get exasperated and fix whatever stupid problem might have been caused by the bid process. usually takes a manager to ok it, but hey at least you aren't getting lost in a series of automated BS responses.

I sell motorcycle parts on EBAY. I think at least 40% of my buyers are no shows. Gets old! they need to ramp up the punishment! He he

Yeah I used to do a little bit of this too. I sold a complete Triumph 650 to a guy for 1200 bucks on ebay (slow week) and when he showed up he tried to give me 800 bucks. Other than that they dotn show, or dont contact you or whatever. It blows cause it suck to have to eat the cost on a 4000 dollar auction. Now I have a storage unit full of motorcycle crap I'll sell one day, but it wont be on ebay.

The dudes that act like it's on layaway jack my arse too. 1 month to pay? Now he wants me to hurry and ship.........okeydokey.

Hi thumperpilot....i hope it wasn't the gt frame he's backing out of. If it is ,give me a call. I've got a use for a 82 GT pro frame and fork set. Oh...and i can't wait to get my little hands on the DX post. Been waiting a long time for one of those. Thanks for selling.Very cool. Don't worry about that other idiot. Not all us buyers are bad...but it does leave a bad taste in the mouth. I agree that ebay should be policed more so that the real buyers can use it the way it should be used.
LOL@ HBR....Some people think it's Walmart!! lol.

Break a deal............face the wheel.

Sorry man, not the GT. Mine was a very clean Bassett 26'er fame and fork. It will sell all in good time. If not, I leave it hangin' up in the ol' garage.

This all pretty much strengthens my opinion on the human race (except for you guys )

TTT, that was funny I just saw that movie a few weeks ago! It was the first time in twenty years.

not all vendors are angels either. my only neg in over 200 transactions was from a vendor who ripped me in postage costs after i paid straight away with BIN. basically he charged me "x" amount when it cost him considerably less to send.

give'em a nonpayer strike and call it a day --- theres always schiesters and swindlers that try to play that hard guy roll and act like they don't need the community or they are above it --- reality is, they still revolve around it and lurk and read and listen and learn. but they are too dirtbag to be a part -they're a joke- your known, respected and honorable (for the most part, ha) so even if they strike back with neg.s - it only bites them in the arse in the long run, because we know your chill, so its obvious they were up to something .....

screw it - block'em, burn'em and bury'em - i know i just did

p.s. Shannon, thanks for the set-up (their precious) sorry we didn't have a chance to chill this past weekend, hopefully the next time around you won't be so busy

I sold an item that had $5 for shipping. The guy e-mailed me and said " I hope you're going to use all that shipping cost" Ya idiot, I live on the west coast. Packaging, tape, my time = $5
proline2
yeah, i should have factored in the expenses of fuel, wear and tear on his car, wear and tear on his sneekers to walk into the post office etc. i didn't think of that. silly me.
postage is just that. postage and handling is a different story.

No no, you fit into the "you guys" catagory too.

Thank all the woosies in the vbmx negative forum that don't leave negative feedback ....I know it's not just them but if half the losers on ebay started receiving proper feedback most would be gone.
Randy
Oh yea, put John's gear on ebay, you'll find out how fast I pay
Oldtimer1980s
How reliable are those buyer/seller feedbacks anyway? What kind of ratings did they have before they stiffed any of you?

Bad ebayers have taken some of the fun out of it for me also. I have had the non payers, taken a month to pay, bid then ask for lower price and just flat out lies about the product they bought. It has been about 75% good and 25% bad but the bad sure has sourered me. I have had 2 very bad ebay bidders and both were BMX museum members. One lied about the wheels (proven lies) and then went on BMX museum bad mouthing me. A bunch of other members on there chimed in and bad mouthed me also without know much if anything about the dealing at all. I don't like BMX museum at all for that reason. I could go on and on about it all and a few times I was going to post on here ranting about it. Beware of topbidderwins, 405motorsports and a BMXmuseum member that goes by rapscallion (he is the worst in my opinion).
willinois
I run about a 95% or higher good transactions. That is all thanks to you members of this community. Most of that 5% probs come when I sell something non OS BMX related.
