The tape that we tried did a fair job. It was no place close to the glue, though. About the stem, just don't put on the nut, that will save it some problems. About removing the glue, only when you want to change tires. It gets messy until you learn how to do it. One suggestion is to fill the tires up to 100lbs, they hold there better. It will allow light riding but I wouldn't suggest it. Good luck. Getting ready for Rockford now. I will be bring some tires to sell. Look for the JMC display.
