Most here know this build, since I completed it last year. (The first pic was from last year). Since then, I have slowly aquired correct parts, and is now (minus Oakley grips) she's done. She IS a rider, so I'm not running my 80"s Comp III's, and the pedals are newer school Profile Gas pedals. Again, she IS a rider.
LAST YEAR

NOW

I have more pics I'll put up later if need be.
Profile #2 is still in the build stage, but she is also almost done.

Just curious if you are interested in some some (once mounted, then 10 second later taken off) Bubble font Ame grips in yellow. The grips you are rockin on there now are minis. LMK!!! And im DYING to see the other profile....i know it has some nice "profile" goodies on it....cuz you keep sniping me on ebay for them....haha!! LOL!

Mini grips huh. No wonder they are small in my hands. Msg me on the grips.
#2 just needs Profile bars too be whole, but she's running CW Pro's for now. Need a couple of other parts too finish the parts list, then the complete restore can begin. #2 will be 2 bikes in one. What came from the factory, change a couple of parts, and it becomes a the test bike shown in an older Profile post here in Vintage.
Sniped.,.,sorry, no snipe software here.,,last second push.,.,ya, LOL.,.,hahahah!!! Its happened too me a few times also. I do place bids on them though.

Looks very nicce.
Maybe a set of beat up DXs or XCIIs?
I just can't do the new school thing, even for practical reasons.

it looks great but needs pads and a numberplate - it looks "naked" now. There are repro Profile padsets floating around.

A, dont like pad sets.,.,but If I were to get some, they wouldnt be repro
B, what racing plate would fit these bars ?

Zeronine plate - not that easy to find.
Pad sets are cool but not essential.

So Andy, what type of numbers would go on the plate ? I know the Zeronines, but would using Yellow numbers be cool, or white, or black, . Does it matter with the color of the plate ?
I was never a "racer", so not too sure on that kinda stuff.

The Zeronine plates came with a bunch of different coloured faces so it's a matter of seeing what colour that is and using a number that suits.
Zeronine numbers for these plates were usually either black or white.
They are harder to find than the plates!
I know where you can get NOS plates but on in certain colours: Black with a black face, Black with a white face, black with a yellow face, red with a white face, red with a red face.
They ain't cheap though.
Here's mine (colours would suit your build).
