after long and hot day of racing , we went back to the hotel to get cleaned up for dinner .While I was showering , one of my teammates got the cooler from the car, stood on the toilet seaat and dumped the ice and freezing cold water on me. I thought I was gonna have a heart attack !!!!!

Payback was the same ,only he was sitting on the toilet at a restsop I dumped the cooler on him and made sure all the toilet paper got wet!!!!!

AAAAHHHHHAAAAAA!! Thats funny,,,,, Sounds like me and my brothers on a road trip !!!

On a road trip to Colorado, we decided it would be cool to 'moon' other motorists out of the team motorhome. The driver / owner of the bike shop and ex cop..he didn't think that was so funny...

lol @ ray. a rest stop is way worse than in the hotel room where you have towels and dry clothes handy. you are significantly up on him. watch your back...

wow , we really had some hard-core racers back in the day that had no FUN.

I have been lucky and have made really great friendships and had tons of fun alongbthe way.

Roadtrips are the best part of BMX, its not all about the RACE , but the fun that went on befoe and after!

There are soo many great stories and precious memeories.

I guess I was lucky to have fun , win or loose !!!!

had a good one told to me from a friend in a band to try they did it on tour here goes,its called planting

wait for some to go to sleep then pull your pants or shorts down then straddle them butt facing them grab their legs yelling fire when they set up they plant their nose in your arse hense PLANTING and yes it works!!! lol

Somewhere in the Midwest, while traveling about 70mph down the highway, climb out the window of the SE van, and getting on the roof.

Being somewhere around the 14floor of the hotel (with indoor atrium)and after opening the door to go inside, for the after race party, someone throws a $12.00 room service hamburger at you. The best part is me ducking and the burger landing somewhere near the lobby, 14 floors down.

were ya getting a suntan out on that roof or trying to get the wind blown look going on with the coif?

If you have the time! it is always good to turn someones cranks and wheel to the other side. So when they go to pedal it just freewheels. You have to move the chain too. You need time? but it is worth the effort

Mid summer nationals always led th pranks with fire-crackers !!

I have evidence of Doug Shader lighting fire-crackers and sliding them under the bathroom door while a teammate was showering !!!

i'm NOT surprised that you started this thread, roy. the spoke city trips were fun but...when you joined our team it kicked up a notch...or two...or maybe three. most rock bands didn't do what we did. i don't think there was a hotel that ever wanted us back! LOL

how about us and the bedard team riding the empty pool at the hotel. i forget where it was though...

we would pick roy up at the airport friday night with a pizza box sign with his last name spelled wrong with about 20 letters.
