Tone, you have an amazing collection. A 1970s Patterson build has always been on my to-do list.

Nice colour combo - looks very 1985.

That is cool. Are they Galindo bars?
Walter

Wow, sweet. White was an 85 color huh? I wasn't around at that point, but by 83 all white uni's were surely out there. The 83 GT uni's were basically all white..

Top Notch.

The orange in the pro class rims is a nice touch. I am starting to like the white Pattersons more than the chrome. What other colors did they come in?

Never liked white bikes UNTIL I SAW THIS ONE

Really nice bike. The color combos look great. I like how you have black tires on your bikes (me too). Super nice bike but in my opinion if any colored tires were on it it would look gross.

The colored tire comment I just made is wacky, don't know why I wrote it. Just trying to compliment Tone on his bikes always having black tires as well as the killer patterson. Im out for the night.

What I meant about 1985 is that is how it 'looks'.

I know white bike were around way before that.

Other colours of PR 200s I've seen are yellow and black.

Anybody see a blue one?
Walter

thanks for the compliment. believe me i know what youre saying about black tires vs colored tires.

i NEVER had a thing for colored tires. not slamming anyone, just me. i just never liked them. as a kid racing in the early to mid 80's i just dont really remember seeing them all that much on the track.

they got dirty to quick, and the last thing a real bmx racer wanted to do was worry about his tires being dirty.

i remember hearing back in the day that colored tires didnt last as long either. something about some of the rubber percentage had to be taken away for the coloring. dont know about the truth of it though.

to me a race bike has black tires and thats it.
